Verna the cashier is constantly in a bad mood. Every experience I have had with her, I start with “hi how are you today” and she doesn’t say anything back, just treats me like I’m an inconvenience. She hasn’t said a single word to me in the many times I’ve stepped in her checkout aisle, which I know she can talk because she will be having full out conversations as I walk out. I never leave reviews, but her attitude suuuucks.

I live close to this Smiths location and for the most part I've had a good experience. The folks who work at the self checkout area are often kind and helpful. I'd especially highlight John as one of the great employees at this location. On several occasions however I've been met with rude comments when I ask if I can use the restroom. Because I use this location quote often it's extremely frustrating when I expect to be able to use the restroom and am met with rudeness and no explanation for why it's closed or when it will be open again. If the restroom is going to be closed for long periods of time it would be helpful if customers are treated with kindness and grace and more explanation of the situation. Pretty disappointing 😕.

Smith's food King on 900 East 850 South the meat department is really rude and will not help you reroute stuff now the Smiths meat department on 500 East 600 South I get a package of two steaks go to butcher he'll rewrap them single with plastic in the brown paper and they never get freezer but the Smiths on 850
