If I could give this no stars I would. There were no sign to tell us that this was a paying restaurant. It looks exactly like continental breakfast that most hotels offer, in a room with a lined up buffet. The food was waxy and congealed and cold! The eggs were powdered eggs and the bacon was burnt. The potatoes were cold and that was it for buffet. The fruit was put of season and the coffee was horrible! And then they bring us a bill. For all of this garbage they served, $18 per person!!!! $36 for the worst food we've ever had and we've been to some places!! And we even tipped since the server was way too attentive at 6:30 in the morning BC (before coffee).

Inside the hotel. This side of Salt Lake is full of homekess and junkies, so unless you stay at the hotel, you have to wade through them.I had my dog, so I couldn't go in.

If breakfast was just included with your room, this would be acceptable. But it is not really worth the price, particularly the buffet. The food was flavorless, and the onions in the scrambled eggs tasted like they hadn't even been cooked, just thrown in afterward. I'm certain the danishes had been sitting out too long. The one redemption was the omelet station. It was delicious , nd the chef was very personable.

For $37, I expected the Bourbon Steak to be great. I was mistaken. It was a thin, tough, overcooked supermarket-quality piece of meat with a gluey sauce on top. Better were the fish & chips. The wine list starts at $50 for a bottle of Dark Horse Cabernet, available for $10 at any Utah State Liquor Store. Service was good, though.

I expected to get a great meal here. I was mistaken. My husband and I each ordered the rib steak. It was thin, tough and overcooked and had a gelatinous topping of some sort. My brothers had the fish & chips and burger, which were better. BUT BEWARE!. The menus listed online are very obsolete (pre-COVID, according to our waitress). The steaks were $38, not the $27 listed on the online menu. Wine starts at $55 for Dark Horse Cabernet (available in any Utah State Liquor Store for $10). The good service could not make up for the overprices poor-quality food.

Really disappointing and overpriced food. The only good thing were the eggs over easy, though I asked for medium. The sausage links were cold inside and seemed like they were just warmed up in a microwave from frozen. The potato wedges seemed to be the same way. Waitress was impatient and got some our order wrong. I hate making a fuss at the table about things like this unless it's a fancy place, especially during breakfast as long as the food is edible and close to what I ordered. So I'm leaving a review here hoping the manager will see it and care to improve things without me or a companion having to battle anybody over their misplaced pride or self-image. Sorry not sorry. Companion felt ill afterword. This place needs to do better or be shut down.

The best thing about this place is the water. Our waitress was kind but horribly slow. The food is absolutely disgusting. Gratuity was added on a table of FIVE. Do not recommend and will never return.

Sadly we stayed at the hotel and felt like being lazy so we ate here. BAD CHOICE. Fruit and pastries were good and presentations well but their "cook" used way to much salt and grease not quality or butter. Stay away from anything they make even the eggs. If they replace the cook or it's a different one you might be safe as the ingredients are hard to screw up. Good bacon but when you don't bother to drain or keep stacking greasy on greasy then it ruins a good start.

Car broke down? Leg broke can't walk away from hotel? Then it's all you've got so go for it. It's like a lone food stand at a train stop for the desperate. Pizza and wings I would recommend but drink a few beers first.

We stayed at the hotel for several days and would go to the bar on the ground floor. Sue was an awesome bartender and was very friendly. I appreciate when people go out of their way to make an experience better. Thank You Sue!

Cocktail was good, but forget about the ribeye steak. Asked for medium and it came out well done. Couldn’t even bite into it because it was so over cooked. I ended up using door dash the entire time I was here. Would not recommend the restaurant.
