Bad service, scammed out of $40 USD for an update plan when it was only $10. Wouldn't refund money in store had to call and sort myself.

A couple days ago we had help from Gabby B. She did absolutely amazing. We had strongly felt the need to come back to receive more customer service to get our newly bought SAMSUNG Galaxy Fold 5 that Gabby helped us purchase, because it was nearly a $2,000 phone. The day we received the phone in the mail on Monday, February 12th we had walked in the same store (8828). We immediately got a very warm welcome by Osai Yungai. After shortly waiting Emily Bailey came onto the floor and said "I can help you" it was very unwelcoming. Me and my husband proceeded to walk over and said hello and she did not look at us or acknowledge the fact that we said anything. There was a brief pause so my husband said we came in to get my new phone set up so we can turn my old phone in. Emily immediately grabbed the phone case (that was still in the box) out of my husband's hands then proceeded to rip the box open in pieces. While doing so the new phone had dropped on the counter. Emily picked it up and ripped the protective sleeve again in pieces very aggressively. My husband and I know that the inner screen can be damaged by fingernails. Luckily there was no damage to the screen. Proceeding on, Emily then grabbed my husbands old phone and forcefully took out the sim card, then forcefully again took out the sim card slot on the new phone. She had put the sim card on the slot and tried to force the sim card slot back into the phone. Mind you, it was flipped upside down and she was trying to push it in with force.I looked at my husband in shock. I couldn't believe my eyes, in the MANY years of me getting professional help in the technology industry had this NEVER HAPPENED. I couldn't take it anymore. The lack of respect for someone's property and the disrespect that has been shown was JAW DROPPING AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I had told Emily that I do not want her service. Immediately I turned to Osai and asked him if he could assist us. My husband and I absolutely do not want to be serviced by Emily. My blood pressure went up severly to where I was getting dizzy. My German Shepard, who is my ESA that I brought with me, leaned on me so I realized I needed to step out of the store to calm myself down. While I was outside calming down, Emily had made a comment while helping another customer "I don't give a F*&^ ill be leaving in 2 weeks." I came back to the building and we were still being helped by Osai. While we were waiting for information to be transferred from one phone to the other. My attention had been brought up by Emily, She was continuing to be disrespectful to other customers. She was talking back and belittling customers pointing at products that were across the room and saying " Is this what you are talking about". There had been roughly 5-6 Customers and they all had a concerned/shocked expression. Emily had down time and a Customer named Ben. Emily had said "no I don't speak spanish, you already called. No habla espanol." Then she hung up the phone.

None of the associates were knowledgeable about even basic things. A waste of time left me with no recourse but to seek answers elsewhere.

Hello. I came in for the cool holiday pub glass through the Tuesdays app today around 4. I asked if the gateway mall location had closed and the guy with long hair said "i dont know--well, if the entire store is empty, must be" which was fine but he was really snarky about it in the verbal delivery and almost seemed like he was working really hard to not roll his eyes at me (the non verbal language/attitude).At first, he tried to say the glasses were out but the other two said there were more in back. It was awkward all the way through my two minutes in there since the other two were on their phones-male and female employees.When he went back to get the item, the other two just were zoned out on their phones and had no semblance of hospitality either.. I felt like I was interrupting their conversation and unwelcome in the store so left whereas I usually will peruse for a bit.I miss the days when people would talk to customers and ask how they are doing and made some small talk. Or educate me on new products. Today, yes, my goal was not to buy Or intend to buy anything, but I won't now for certain . I'll just buy accessories from third party websites online as most people do now. The markups are always crazy in retail stores as it is. Thank you for further confirming why online shopping is way less anxiety-inducing overall. And I don't need to worry about people's lack of customer service. I don't get why employees get so cranky or indifferent. Isn't that a sales job?There was no one else in the store at that time...but I left feeling horrible like I didn't belong there at all. Get the Gateway mall location back. Those dudes were cool as hell and always keeping us up to date on the latest deals. I wasn't having a great day as is, and this interaction made me wonder if I have something about me that makes people shut down when they see me.

I was visiting Utah from another country and tried an eSIM with another provider but it did not work. I went to this T-Mobile store #8828 because it was close to my hotel. Ezekiel was very helpful and quick in troubleshooting and confirming the issue with my phone, and installing a new SIM so I could have data.

Waited an hour to buy new iPhone, was told it was out of stock and to go to Apple, wouldnt even offer to order it for me. but on top of that, was made fun of for my Huawei phone and told my prepaid account was a "burner" account as if Im doing something illicit when I asked to upgrade. The boy talked so fast I had to ask him to repeat himself I am hard of hearing and he was annoyed when I asked him to clarify his jargon because I don't work for or think about tmobile everyday so how would I know.Don't go here, save yourself time and hassle.

My husband and I was in City Creek and we already knew we wanted a new cell phone. Bottom line, they recommended a phone that met our needs. The staff and esp the manager spent the time to backup my storage and apps. I am truly grateful for an amazing customer service.

My name Joseph and i was at the t-mobile store at city creekIn slc, UT. The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed my time in the store. I do have some disabilities and the person who was helping me set up my new service . And she was way awesome and she took time to help me to learn about the service for my on the go internet. If i could give more stars on the service i was giving at the store .i would give it all the stars in the universe. And i really mean that .I am so grateful for all the help and the service I received at this store . When i go to this location i have a big smile when I'm in the store. Before i went in the store i was having a tough day with my disabilities. And when i was in this store it changed my day and i was feeling good .I had a big smile on my face.I really appreciate Alexis Timothy what a fantastic person.Thanks for the service and i really enjoyed our time talking while you were helping me with my new internet on the go that's what i call it. Thanks again Alexis Timothy.You rock Alexis Timothy. Thanks again.Here's a smile face for you :)
