I was about to send this to the BBB and The consumer protection council plus post here when I received a survey from T-Mobile. I filled it out and waited, no response. Just like the rest of the times I've contacted T-Mobile.I hate giving bad reviews, but I'm getting nowhere with trying to fix my account! I went in the brickyard, Salt Lake store to add 1 line to my account. The employee told me it would only be a little more than what I was currently paying to switch to a business account, get 3 lines and a tablet including 'free' devices. This was in May 2023. I got a bill for the business line and paid it in June before I realized that they hadn't switched my previous account over to the business account and the auto pay for my original lines was still being taken. Which meant I Not only was paying about $40 a month more than I had been paying, I was getting double billed. I immediately started the process to try and get them to move my previous lines over to the new business account. I went into the store multiple times and got nowhere because for some reason they can sign people up for business accounts but you can't talk to them about business accounts in store. I tried calling the main company many times to talk to them about the business account. I would get transferred over and over again and even got hung up on multiple times. I have even gone into several different T-Mobile stores to see if I could get some solution to the problem.I spent two hours in a different store while their own employees got transferred and hung up on trying to get the situation corrected! I've been working with another T-Mobile store for over 3 months. The employee there said that the brickyard store is a franchise store so he doesn't have say over it but he said he's contacting the store manager and the district manager with no results. He sent me back over to the brickyard store with instructions on exactly how to get what I needed done. I talked with the manager again who said he is new and the 2 employees who signed me up no longer work there, but he would get it figured out. He tried to take the note the other stores employee had written the instructions on. As I left a man in line behind me said "good luck! I've been fighting with this store over something similar for months." So I'm not the only one who's had issues! In fact, the employee at the other store who has been trying to help me said he has had several people come to his store for help with issues dealing with the brickyard store.Another time, I was called by a computer for payment then after pressing 2 for customer service, I spent about 4 hours on the phone being transferred over and over again and having to re-explain what was going on to each new person. Then getting hung up on and having to start over again. I was also told the system wasn't set up to send me anything in writing when I asked for what she was telling me to be emailed. She seemed very offended I wouldn't just take her word for it, despite me being in this situation because of that very reason.I would just cancel my T-Mobile service and go to a different provider but I am being charged $1,400 for the "free" devices that have never been hooked up. Plus since it has been so long trying to get it figured out. I have had to pay for 6 months of service on the plan that's never been activated, Which adds up to almost another $1500!All I want is an exception return for the unused devices or to be allowed to return the unused devices and get some that are better, not worse than the devices I currently own. Then given credit for the double payments I have made while this has been in dispute and put my current lines under the business account and cancel the personal account like was suppose to happen in May.I was a long term happy customer and I've recommended T-Mobile to many people through the years, that is no longer the case!

We had a great experience at T-Mobile. We came in numerous times to set up our account and Abdul never lost patience with us. It is difficult working with a generation that struggles with technology and he walked us through every step.

Just upgraded my phone here. It all went pretty smooth, but I found out the next day that they add the protection plan to the phone without even asking me if I wanted it. I was able to call customer service and get it canceled, but make sure you specify that you don't want the protection plan if you don't want it. They'll just add it in without telling you otherwise.
