The way a company treats it's employee's who helped make them successful, says everything about a them. A business that treats their employees with disrespect, certainly doesn't have a problem treating their customers with the same disrespect. Honesty is key, and this dealership is lacking.

Buying a car can be fun but also stressful. I actually bought two vehicles at TJ Chapman. I bought a SUV and then a Tesla. I was so happy with the customer service and how great their communication skills are. I was probably a difficult customer with all my questions. They were super patient with me and gave me the VIP treatment. I was very impressed in how they handled my situation. If you're in the market for a new car, I highly recommend you using them not only can you trust TJ Chapman but they go over and beyond customer service. Thanks TJ Chapman!!

Edit to add: I just received a voicemail from Leo. It says "This is Leo, the general manager of TJ Chapman Auto regarding the vehicle you bought as a cash and carry that we had to lower down to $5,000 because you couldn't afford the rest of it. Can you give me a call back please. There's a thing out there called defamation of character so you should look that up." Nothing I stated in my review below was false. I posted my experience with the dealership and the unprofessionalism of leaving a voicemail like this shows true character. Defamation of character would be someone stating they had to lower the price of a vehicle because someone couldn't afford it. We walked in there and we were straight up from the beginning in stating we would not be paying more than $5,000 cash out the door. I didn't know setting a cap on what you wanted to spend meant you couldn't afford more? We walked away when they gave their initial counter of $5,100. We almost got to our car when the salesman's ran out and said they would do it for the $5,000 if we left good google reviews. We held up our end of the deal until the key incident below. We have yet to see any accountability from the dealership about this missing/nonexistent key. Review was 5 stars as the experience had started out great but then took a turn for the worst. Me and my husband bought a car from Clayton on 9/11. We bought as-is and we were told there were two sets of keys. It was past closing time and they said the 2nd set of keys could be in a tech's drawer. We were told that they would call us to pick up the 2nd set once they found it. The next day they said one of their salesmen who was off could have put the keys somewhere. We reached out everyday to ask about these keys. We finally received a response on 9/14 from Clayton that they couldn't find the 2nd set. Basically since we bought the car "as-is" and left without the 2nd key there was nothing they could do. They also mentioned that they already lowered the price on our vehicle as if that somehow made up for the fact that we weren't getting this 2nd key. We asked if we could make a copy of the key/fob and if we could get reimbursed since we didn't lose the key. We were told no because they lowered the prices to accept our offer (I don't understand what this has to do with them losing this key). We asked to speak with a manager. Leo the sales manager called back and said there was never a 2nd key. He also mentioned that they already lowered the price when we bought the vehicle (again I don't know what this has to do with us being told there's a 2nd set of keys). Both parties agreed on a price and at the time this included the 2nd set of keys. I don't understand why we were told about this 2nd set of keys and then all of a sudden they never existed after we tried to get more information for days. A verbal agreement was made when purchasing this vehicle that it included 2 sets of keys and a working fob. We received 1 key and a busted fob with no "guts". This was a good experience turned bad. It's not so much about the price of the key/fob but the principle. We were promised something, lied to, and blamed for "leaving without the keys." The gaslighting in this experience from numerous employees was unreal. I didn't mention the other 3 employees we spoke with who also tried to make it seem like what the dealership did was okay. Brian was the only reasonable person we spoke with.

Vehicle was sold out from under me while I was at the bank waiting for TJ Chapman Auto to provide their wire information and final price. They assured me over text message several times the truck was mine while I was at the bank getting a loan. When we called to get the final price and wire information they told me they sold to another buyer.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They sold my disabled veteran husband a lemon. The car only ran for 2 weeks!! Even in that two weeks and even in that two weeks the car had to go back to TJ Chapman to be "fixed". Obviously they did not fix it and we ended up at the manufacters's dealership, where it has been for over 6 months due to parts backlogs. It needs over $13,000 worth of work (imagine trying to find that on a fixed income). This dealership takes advantage of disabled people and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your next vehicle.

I'm not the type of person that goes online and leaves these type of reviews for a company, but I felt this one was warranted. I purchased a vehicle from this company in August of last year. The video presentation did not make mention of the damaged and obviously repainted front end. I discovered this after having the vehicle delivered to my home. Not only was the damage not disclosed, the car had almost 1000 more miles than what was listed online. I assumed it had been used by the dealership. This was not disclosed to me. This particular vehicle was a low mileage vehicle, and 1000 miles makes a huge difference on the resale. It also arrived dirty. The biggest issue was that the finance manager I was initially dealing with left and did not communicate to the new individual that would be taking over my transaction, the shipping details. They shipped my vehicle to Montana, and had to be eventually rerouted to Houston, delaying the delivery date by four days. Although they took care of the additional cost, I think that was the least they could do. The lesson that I learned is never buy a vehicle that you cannot test drive or look at yourself. I think these types of issues could be expected from an individual, but not a reputable company. Follow up - TJ contacted me directly to discuss the issues that I was having after the damage to the front end continued to get worse. Not only did he accuse me of lying, but said that they were not liable, and that there is absolutely nothing they can do. Stay away from this dealer at all costs.

The two guys I met at TJ Chapman Auto were the best 'car salesmen' I've ever met. They know how to pick cars.Their cars are unique and higher trim levels than you usually can find. The repairs they make are not cheap cover up jobs that are going to fall apart 3 months down the road. They were friendly, NO hassle, relaxed, all the time. They weren't bothered by how many times I asked questions about the 3 cars I was comparing. They offered other suggestions that were in line with what I was looking for.One of their mothers did the paperwork with me and made it so easy. She was really nice.I wound up getting a 2017 Cadillac CT6.I've had no problems at all with the car!I still love getting in and driving it every time.I will only be buying my car's from here for the foreseeable future. Thanks guys.

Very disappointed definitely don't trust the sales men or blue star inspection I was looking at a 2013 Cadillac ctsv online I asked the sales men Kendall Reese and 2 other sales men and even the front desk person if the car was perfect no problems at least 1000 times they said yes it's perfect ABSOLUTELY no problems and I said ok I believe them and seen it had a 5 star inspection so I decided to fly out from Michigan to Salt Lake City Utah and buy the car cash in pocket but turns out the car had a obvious blown head gasket shown a few signs. Based on there behavior and how they handled it made me think they already knew about it and tried to see if I would still buy it (they most definitely knew about it) but never told me about it (wasted time and money) I walked away from deal (lol and I they tried so hard to get me to get lo jack $800 add on when I clearly never wanted it) (on the phone they seem super nice but now I am putting things together and I realize it was all a façade they are hungry salesmen that want to eat and don't care what people go trough to get a car

Never ever buy a vehicle here. We have had nothing but issues since the day we drove our truck off the lot. They flat out LIED to us about our truck warranty and we have had our truck in with a mechanic FOUR TIMES in the 5 months we have owned it. Nothing but a bunch of shady crooked liars! If I could afford a lawyer, I would get one. But I'm already out thousands of dollars because of this sketchy company.

Kendal & Jeff and rest of All the sales reps all share the same number, then they will lose you in their shared volume. Then they will disregard your Inquiries into the car that you're interested in and then they will run your credit after they talk to you after you called him back needing attention and they will stop calling you and ignore you and then you have your data ran through their house now credit union but they have no answer for you, for me the NSX they're selling won't pass smog in California but they'll waste your time to do your own research.

talked to Gavin 3 days ago and thought I bought a 2019 Cadillac XT5 (that's STILL on their website as available) I asked what kind of deposit they needed, he said "no tomorrow " I'd be contacted by the finance department- well 2 unanswered emails and 2 text messages got me to call them where I was told that "my" car was sold 4 days ago! REALLY?! So I speak to the "manager" Frank who apologized (like that helped) telling me they're only human and they make mistakes and went on to tell 12 years in the business and 140 vehicles sold a month BLA BLA BLA. So I asked why can't someone push a button with a SALE PENDING banner in the ad once there's interest like eBay, Carmax or other more reputable companie? We'll Frank couldn't answer that! F#%#&D my holiday up but with today's attitude why should they care. BUYER BEWARE THESE GUYS SUCK!
