Ordered a toilet part at Home Depot. $5.99. Never received it. Contacted customer service and they said I had to file a claim with my credit card company. I asked just send me a replacement. Their reply "Just order another one and call your credit card company" Wow

Lots of products, very helpful employees. They will get with others working there to solve your problem or get you the right product. They can order items they don't stock or are out of. You can get many of them delivered also. Sales always great! I appreciate the military discount now connected to my cell phone! No longer need a manager to complete transaction.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Scott today in the paint department. He had great advice to offer and was a consummate professional. How nice to work with someone who has such a great attitude!!

It's tough enough going into a big box hardware store, looking for help in most any department and being lucky enough to find an employee that will actually stop, and ask if you need help, rather than avoiding eye contact and scurrying off. Now compound this problem with an employee that has a very minimal understanding of basic English, has to have a basic question rephrased multiple times, and as a response, rolls their eyes, shrugs their shoulders, and instead of calling over a fellow employ, turns and walks away. I guess the problem is mine for not being conversive enough in his native Spanish dialect, or looking at his conveniently absent name tag that would have identified him as an Spanish speaking employee only.

I'll start with the good first. On the plus side, the guy was really helpful in helping me know how to start and use the aerator. Here's the bad and the ugly: on the website, they advertise the rental fee as $110 for the whole day for an aerator. Not bad. Assuming there are some extra fees or charges, I asked repeatedly if there were any extra costs, to which the associate said "no, just $110 plus an optional damage protection fee." But upon arriving at the tool rental desk to reserve the tool for a future date, a small sticker on the back of the computer at the desk caught my eye which read "cleaning fee applies." So I asked about it, and surprise! There's a $75 "cleaning fee" the associate wasn't letting on about. 100% mandatory fee even if you clean it yourself top to bottom. This "cleaning fee" is advertised nowhere online, only on a sticker on the back of the computer at the desk that YOU have to ask about specifically, apparently. Super shady, annoying, and unethical. Come on, you guys.

Really needed some potting soil and was having a hard time finding any since fall has come around. Home Depot had exactly the kind I was looking for! They had hiring signs but also seemed to do well taking care of customer needs!

I have worked as a plumber for the last 10 years and we have a pro account with home Depot I tried to rent some tool equipment and they would not do a card by phone due to the liability. Although they have actually done this a dozen of of different times renting tool equipment and returning it just fine somebody in this managerial space feels like they want to lose commercial jobs that's fine we'll just go to diamond rental you've lost a customer for Life take care

The customer service at the return check out is either confused , untrained or both. This use to be my favorite location. I won't shop at this location again, ever.

This is the closest Home Depot to my house and after buying a house that was built in 1936, I have made numerous trips for supplies here over the past few years. Usually when I go into the Depot, I have a list of items to find. Sometimes I have questions to ask-like where a particular item might be so I am not walking around Home Depot all day long. Most of the employees here seem to be preoccupied and not wanting to be helpful to customers. There are a few people who work here who go above and beyond. However, the unhelpful ones seem to stand out as there are so many. On my most recent trip, there was a guy behind the customer service counter, who was probably not having a very good day. He was rude, had no idea what I asked for, and really did not want to help anyone that asked for help. When I found out the aisle where the product was that I was looking for (hydraulic cement), there was a huge orange ladder on wheels in front of the area, and it was so heavy and hard to move. I finally looked for someone to help and there was no one around. I ended up having to walk the entire length of the store back to customer service to see if someone could move the ladder for me. Home Depot used to have so many people working here that you could not walk down an aisle without seeing a friendly person helping others. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, customer service seems to have taken a back seat to sales.

Ordered a very expensive Koehler black toilet and matching black pedestal sink this summer for a remodel in Park City. Was trying to be proactive in ordering early with so many delays of materials due to Covid. When time came to install the toilet a few weeks ago we discovered it was cracked. I returned it to HD with the intention of reordering. Unfortunately it was no longer available so I had to order another model. A week later I brought the matching sink to return since it no longer matched the toilet and was told they would not take it back. They told me to call 1-800- HOME-DEPOT which I did. I was directed on the phone to see Mike at this HD and he would take care of it. HA! I was told by Mike when I got there since I already tried once to return it, I wasn't allowed to come back and try a second time. I said I was instructed to call HD headquarters when I was there the first time and they instructed me to bring it back. He then switched gears and told me I should have returned it with the broken toilet. I said I didn't because I intended to reorder the same toilet, therefore the sink wouldn't need to be returned. It was only when I realized the toilet was no longer available I knew I needed to get the pedestal sink and return it. He then switched gears yet again and said the window closed in the time I brought the toilet to bringing the sink ( less than 10 days). Now mind you I ordered these two items separately back in July, but the window closed in this 10 day period. And the strangest part of all of this is the faucet that I ordered for this sink at the same time they took back, no questions asked. So buy from this store at your own risk. They obviously make their own return policy up on the fly.

Very bad rental service, all the stores always rent me with the passport, but in this place, not terrible.

I'm going to be honest: I hate this store, like loathe it completely. At its best days, it was chaotic and unorganized (but staff generally helpfully knows where things are, even, maybe especially, when they don't make any intuitive sense), but these days, we have that AND patrons wandering around maskless. Staff is doing a good job with their own masks, from what I saw, but I know the stores are huge, with high ceilings and all, but you got to boot folks out or your posted signs are worthless. Still, it gets a 3 because it has generally had the stuff I've needed (only go there when I absolutely need stuff I can't get elsewhere and need it somewhat fast), even if I couldn't get to it in anything resembling a hurry and nearly always have to ask someone and it is super convenient to where I am. If not, I would probably never go there.

I love love love Home Depot. This location is great. My only issue is that they don't have nearly as much of a selection as the other Home Depot's around as an FYI so if you need a larger selection you will likely have to head over to another store. Otherwise their in stocks are actually better than others around!

In the same way that an unexpectedly-necessarily colonoscopy can be both daunting and emotionally confusing, I approached Home Depot Tool Rental this morning. Upon entrance, one is immediately accosted with a cacophonous wall of confused odors, not entirely unlike that which one finds on the underside of the motel room mattress To my surprise, the two Mikes working in that S&M themed part of the Home Depot, demonstrated both a professional familiarity with the equipment AND a personal commitment to personal hygiene. They helped make my work process more efficient, and showed me ways that I could rent additional equipment to help make my super kick a** project even MORE super AND MORE kicking of a*** Dr. Joseph D.
