Very poorly run U-Haul. GM should be fired. First, the mobile check-in is terrible. It takes crazy long, and then it tells you to find a parking spot but there are literally zero signs indicating where to go. The employees weren't able to help and 2 separate employees told me "every time someone's tries to use the app, they can't find their truck"....okay...well then maybe put some signs up? Ultimately it took me 35 minutes to get the truck...which culminated in my giving up on the app and waiting in a long slow line. None of the employees were customer orientated or cared at all. On the return, again, almost no signs indicating where to drop off of what to do. When I did find it, nobody was there to check me in. Waited 10 minutes. Finally I went inside and the employee apologized and said she'd check me in. Nothing was smooth and easy. All falls on the GM. I'll try another rental company next time.

I think his name was John or David. He was very nice and professional. Helped me remove my hitch to a smaller one and got me on my way in no time.

See "ADVISE" at the end.We rented a U-Haul truck from this place for 6 hours for an in-town move, and was charged +$50 extra due to three mistakes by the staff. 1st, the mileage indicated on the receipt for checking out is 36 miles lower, so we were charged 36 miles extra. 2nd, we were charged for fuel though we have filled the fuel to the level when we checked out. 3rd, we didn't use the utility dolly and the tag-lock was not opened, but were charged for the dolly. Luckily, we have taken pictures of the mileage and kept the receipt for the gas, so have enough evidences to dispute. While the staff acknowledged that it is their fault, and said they will correct the receipt the first thing the next business day, they NEVER get back to us and update the receipt for days !!!There are two things I don't understand without claiming that they are simply doing fraudulent business. 1st, what are the chances they made these three mistakes all together by accident? 2nd, why they never get back to us while they have acknowledged their mistakes?We had similar experiences with U-Haul in the past, but don't want to bother for 20 bucks or so. But this time, we decided to take actions to dispute, and ended up spending more than two hours contacting the customer services several times without any useful feedback. So the cost to protect your rights is HUGE, like always when you are dealing with a Monopoly.While we will NEVER use U-Haul, it will exist for a while. I ADVISE every customer to keep all evidences in case you need to protect yourself for future dispute, and to not assume that the staff is trustable. I am sorry for those staffs who are honest, but it is unfortunately the lesson I learned from dealing with U-Haul several times...

I want to start with the fact that I rented the truck and trailer in Cedar City and only DROPPED the truck and trailer off in Salt Lake. As far as the Salt Lake experience, it was quick, easy, and friendly.

Truck drivers not welcome here for pickup they won’t make enough space for you to back up to a loading ramp. And if you ask them to make space they won’t !!! They will say I’m sorry 1000 times and look how you will damaged their equipment.They don’t have a #PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM. ITS JUST A ROBOT THAT WILL SAND YOU TO THEIR WEBSITE. TRUCK DRIVER NOT FRIENDLY COMMUNITY.

I upgraded my trailer so that it would accommodate my motorcycle. I inquired what the price difference would be and was told "Not much, about a $10 billing difference". When I returned the trailer I was billed $118, later to find out that it was a $10 difference per day (not at all how he made it sound!). They misinformed me, and when I came in to tell them about the misunderstanding there was no professionalism on their part and was basically told to get over it. I asked to speak with a manager, and they told me that there was no manager there, and that he (Alaska was his name!) was the only guy I would be able to talk to and there was nothing they could do for me. The amount of unprofessionalism I just experienced is mind boggling.

Husband and I are moving to rural East Texas and decided to ship our stuff with Uboxes so we didn't have to drive a rented truck or tow a trailer. Moving is stressful enough on its own but we are so glad we decided to go the Ubox route through this store. Everyone we talked to was helpful and answered our questions. We were able to fill our Uboxes and ship them ahead of us leaving so they are scheduled to deliver around when we will make it to our new home. This took a lot of stress off of us and actually ended up being cheaper for us (when you factor in mileage and gas) than renting a truck. Also helped that the staff at the store were patient, friendly, and helpful every step of the way.

They tried to charge me an extra $200 for a Ubox delivery fee. I've used Ubox a couple times before so I know there's no such fee. The customer service rep I dealt with at this location was extremely rude. When inquiring into the charge she asked "how import is it for you" as if it was a huge inconvenience for her to click a back button on her computer to look at the charge. She also claimed she didn't know what it was for, and just tried to force me to pay it. After arguing with her for 30 minutes, she finally admitted it was an error on their part (actually, she blamed the error on her manager and took no responsibility). Terrible customer service.

The truck smelled like goat, and it was very confusing when I went to deliver it, because they wanted me to use it for 10 miles per wash, and I only took a television.
