Our stay started very well, but our family was there for a doctor's appointment early in the morning, and when we realized that we were not going to be able to check out by 11 am. I requested a late checkout for noon instead, but the morning staff said no exceptions and the rooms needed to be vacated before 11 am. I did not get the young man's name or inquire further, I just started making other arrangements to get our bags and family out by the time and wait for my family to get done with the doctor's appointment.

My husband is a cancer patient with Huntsman and we needed to stay in Salt Lake. We called to make reservations and they quoted him 1 price but charged us way more than what they quoted him. We've paid way less at a 4.5 star hotel. It's cheaper to just stay at a hotel.

Perfect place to stay to interact with University of Utah or the medical center. Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff.

One of the very nicest places we have stayed with exceptional hospitality. The rooms were immaculate. The grounds and the view were beautiful. All of the staff friendly and incredibly helpful. The convenience to the tram could not be beat. Easy to get to for someone from out of town. We left some items and Armando, the manager, was wonderful helping guide us on the process to get them mailed back to us. We hope to return regularly.

I was a tad disappointed! Late evening 10 april,tried to get assistance on heat,young man less than helpful onPhone,finally resolved by him coming to room to turn system on,No towels morning for shower !

Was larger a couple of years ago. The U is using it for student housing, short term 2 years. Prior to this change it was easier to get in, better breakfast, better lounge area. Rooms for public now are renovated double queens with full kitchen, really nice rooms. Pillows are foam, beds a bit hard but not terrible. Best of all lodging around the U and hospital area.

If you are at the University of Utah medical facilities, this is extremely convenient. The suites were very nice. Staff was great.
