Nice store. Lots of clothes.Only thing is out of the 2 large bags of clothes (about 20 pairs pants/shorts/etc... & 40-60 shirts/sweaters/etc...) they only bought 5 things. Which surprised me because almost everything was almost new (worn only once or twice) and all but maybe 7 items where brands they say they purchase.Makes me wonder what exactly they look for when purchasing items from us.However they do pay you ok for your items that they do purchase from you.For 5 items I got $17 Cash (or $25 in-store credit).... Which is approximately $3.40 (cash) for each item, which isn't bad.So all in all not a bad experience.

I enjoy shopping here. I was pleasantly surprised that Andrea remembered me from the former location. She made me smile. Thank you Andrea!I did find what I was looking for which were winter leggings. They were brand new with the tags still attached, the fit was perfect and reasonably priced.I've always enjoyed shopping at Uptown Cheapskate, the staff are attentive and kind and the items they have on the racks are in great condition.You should come in and take a look around, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for and maybe even more! ☺️

The chill reveal was exactly what I hoped for. Got 2 patagonias a rain jacket and a puffer and a lulu lemon shirt for $120! Everything is perfect condition.

Arrived in Salt Lake from the north east. After a three day drive finally arrived at my son’s for a fly fishing excursion to the high Uintas, only to realize I had left one bag at home with t- shirts , shorts etc! Being retired and budget conscious I made a trip to the Goodwill outlet . This was like no Goodwill back home!! People stand shoulder to shoulder , clothes flying about as if caught in a tornado! Huge rolling carts with items just thrown onto carts haphazardly. When the management rolled out a fresh cart it was like a shark feeding frenzy!!! And believe me, I know what I m talking about!!! Thank God for Google that led me to Uptown Cheapskate! Quality , gently used apparel at a very affordable price! Staff are obliging , congenial, helpful in every way!! All with a great attitude coupled with a smile!! Store is neat and inviting. Very organized making it a breeze to shop! If you happen to find yourself in the Salt Lake area, Uptown Cheapskate is a must stop!!!

This place is a complete rip off! I called and asked what percentage they would give me and they said that whatever the item retails at they take a third of that price for the stores price and you'll be paid a third of that third. Which means an item that is $100 retail the store will mark it down to$33 and you will be paid $11. Well that is not the case AT ALL!! I took 4 pairs of shoes in that each retail at a minimum of $100 (they were all signature by journee collection) so at the very least i should have been given $11 per pair....I was given $22! They were all brand new in the box too so it was pretty messed u! I will definately never go to uptown cheapskate again!!! If your looking for an alternative check out pibs exchange in sugarhouse, they are way more reliable about the price they pay they don't tell you one thing just to turn around and screw you! On top of all of that they are extremely stuck up and act superior to anyone thatthey believe to be less than them. Worst second hand buyer you can find unless you have a bu of money and just resale your clothes for fun. Good luck if you decide to try uptown cheapskate!! ???

Great price for quality trendy and name brand clothes and shoes. Best second hand store in UT! Hands down. I've been to the SLC location and Layton location both are equally AWSOME!

I loved this place I found a lot of aesthetic cloths for way less money and its so easy to find cute cloths here compared to a normal thrift store. They have really cute accessories, water bottles, hair clips, ect.

I absolutely love and adore uptown cheapskates!!! I work in human resources and I have never in my life experienced such great customer service. Their customer service is not 100% it is 1,000% to the 10th power. What's most important is that when you're making clothing donations they are very fair and honest with your selections. The staff here treats you how they would want to be treated even when you're giving up your most precious belongings. Ariel, Thalia, Brennan and Zack are the greatest group of people you would ever find at any establishment known to man. Super cute store!! There’s something for everyone here. It’s definitely on the pricier side so be careful of that. They do a lot of sales so keep track of them and you’ll save quite a bit of money!!
