I used to love vape on main. Something is going on with this business now though. They are never open and their phone number seems to have been disconnected. Don’t waste your time coming here, i’m pretty sure they are shutting down.

They fired their only good employee! They are never open and don’t know a damn thing about what they carry in store. It’s a shame how they treated Val and I will no longer be coming here.

For a whole month, every single time I have stopped by, no one is there, doors are locked, and no one answers the phone even though the sign says open. This used to be my favorite spot. But now every time I try to stop by on my morning commute around 9am, the sign says open but no one is there. The hours are posted as open at 8am. The hours either need to be updated, or management needs to be aware that employees never show up for opening.

I’ve been a regular customer of Vape on Main for quite some time now, and while the store carries a solid variety of products and maintains long hours, I feel it’s important to shed light on some concerning dynamics I’ve witnessed—particularly when it comes management of the business.
I’ve seen the employees work long, grueling shifts under a visibly tense and unsupportive atmosphere. What’s worse is that this culture seems to stem from the store manager, AJ, whose leadership style creates more pressure than support. It’s clear there’s little regard for employee well-being, resulting in a high-stress environment that I feel the moment I walk in.
Even more troubling are the repeated instances I’ve observed AJ display clear biases in his customer service and accommodation. I’ve seen him act cold, suspicious, and even outright disrespectful toward customers of color, treating them as if they’re potential threats rather than patrons. Meanwhile, he appears oddly comfortable welcoming individuals openly using hard substances (mind you Utah business are suppose to turn these patrons away or direct them to SOMEONE WHO WILL HELP THEM), even allowing them to loiter outside, PANHANDLING, and use the storefront as a SHOOT UP SPOT. At times, he’s even offered them food and extra leniency—behavior that blurs the lines between compassion and enabling.
The result is an atmosphere that feels less like a legitimate vape shop and more like a poorly disguised head shop with questionable boundaries. It’s disappointing to see a place with so much potential be misused in this way, both in how it treats its staff and how it represents itself to the broader community.
Until there’s a serious change in leadership and a renewed focus on equity, professionalism, and staff care, I can’t in good faith recommend Vape on Main to anyone—especially those expecting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive experience.

No listed prices on most goods, found a drink I like with a listed price of 2.39 rang up as a total over $4.
I assumed the total would be under $3 after tax so I wanted to pay $2 cash and the rest on card, the male cashier said no problem, put my money in the system and when I pulled my card out to pay I saw the remaining balance was $1.89, when I asked about the price he immediately got rude and confrontational, I told him I won't pay that as it wasn't the listed price and asked for my money back, the clerk then stated he could not give me my money back as it was in the system (any one who has ever used any P.O.S (point of sale) system would know that is a lie) then he yelled at me even more about how I NEED to pay the 1.89 or be out money, which is extortion, at that point I pulled out my phone to call the cops and report a theft in progress at which point he throws my money
across the counter onto the floor so suffice to say it would be best to avoid this store if you are interested in honest business and not getting robbed and extorted.
This store is a SCAM
