Do not bring your film to be developed here. They advertise everywhere that they develop 35mm film, but they took mine and sent it back with no explanation as to why, and didn’t notify me at all. I had to call them for weeks to see if anything was ready for pickup, and all I got was what I believe is the film undeveloped, but I have no idea. The employees know nothing about what to do about it (both when I called every week for the last month about where my order was, and when I just received a crinkly bag with no information back) which I blame the company for, for underpaying and under training them.

Person we had an issue with: The dark haired girl with an AirPod in and a nose ring at the pharmacy about 15 minutes ago. Current time and date of writing this is 5:38 and May 4th. She couldn’t have been and looked less interested in her job. She has no form of pleasantry, doesn’t seem willing to look into things or help when an issue arose, so the pharmacist ended up helping. I don’t know how it’s allowed to have an AirPod in at work anyways, especially when talking to customers. It makes you seem like you have no interest in listening to the customers. In addition, her tone was not very nice. She wasn’t mean, but she wasn’t very friendly. She asked what my girlfriends name was and she told her her first name, then she asked for last name too so she told her… then she asks for first name again too. Like how uninterested do you have to be to not remember what someone just said to your face. Not a pleasant experience.

My husband and I are done shopping at Walgreens. It’s my body, my choice!!! Big pharma giving into fascists will only hurt them in the long run. Respect a woman’s existence or expect women to shop elsewhere. It’s that simple.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, their photo center is very unprofessional. I ordered same day photos on a Thursday and never received an email/call that day so I waited 24 hrs. When I called, they said they were out of paper and my order wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. I waited patiently until Tuesday, still no update. If I didn't call on Wednesday I wouldn't have received a notification that my photos were ready.It doesnt stop there, once I get to this Walgreens to pick up my order which contained photos and one magnet. They had not done the magnet, they had printed it out and it was a photo instead of magnet. So I had to WAIT at the store until they made that photo a magnet. I will definitely be ordering my photos elsewhere. Solely because of the lack of professionalism. All they had to do is CALL. They dont even care to do that, the rest just adds to the frustration.

People Sit in their drive thru for over 30 minutes waiting for prescriptions to be filled instead of coming back through the line! People need to call in their prescriptions and make sure they are ready prior to going through the drive thru!!!!!

I also have to wait 45-an hour to get helped at the pharmacy. Tell your doctor to send your prescriptions somewhere else!

"We're understaffed, and our phones are broken and keep cutting people off" was what I was told when I went into the store after 2 days of being on hold for over 20 minutes both times with nobody EVER picking up. The 2nd day was to confirm they had the new Covid-19 ba.4 & .5 booster. I got someone and asked if they had it and she asked me eligibility questions then put me on hold. Why she didn't say they didn't have any I'll never know. This store is a joke. They should close permanently until they can run it properly and fix their phones. BTW, when I went in I expected it to be very busy...it was not. There was NOBODY there. No line and nobody working at the counter. Still had to wait over 5 minutes to speak with a person to ask a basic question of "do you have the new booster". Just a pathetic failure of competence and caring.

Walgreens downtown SLC on 500 east has been a huge disappointment everytime I go there. I kept going due to convenience and location. The pharmacy never answers to talk to a tech or pharmacist. They pick up just to put you on hold. First time 18 minutes 2nd time 36 minutes. Kent the manager and Jenna the Assistant manager are of no help. When I tried to talk to them both claimed to be walking back to pharmacy and get me someone and Kent assured my RX was cancelled then that afternoon I was still getting automated calls that my RX was ready for pick up. I called and spoke with Jenna and she kept me on hold 23 minutes. Horrible customer service. Dirty store inside and out. I've transferred my RX and will go out of my way to never return

Their system was down so I had to pay an extra $3 for my item. Why even bother being a rewards member if you won't get the rewards? The cashier didn't override it or even try to use a different register. Made my already bad night worse :(

Terrible store experience. Does not take responsibility for actions when their employees make a mistake. DO NOT order photo goods from this location. Would rather destroy a perfectly good product than admit their mistake and not charge the customer.

Be wise, as I was not. Actual pharmacy hours are not the same as Walgreens pharmacy store hours. Confused? I was! Visit the website for actual RX hours

I have lived in the neighborhood 10 years. They always have what I need, are helpful and friendly. Sometimes I have had to wait at photo but never for long. They are doing their best and I am thankful for this location!

The shift in-charge today must be lazy. They cancelled my pick-up order of about 20 items, worth close to $200. This happened twice already in the past month. Never have I experienced this pick-up cancellation in other Walgreens stores, only in this Sugarhouse location, and I went to the store to check and they have the items that they cancelled. These things are for sure- laziness, ineptness, incompetence. What a waste of my time and effort to arrive at those items in the cart and get cancelled, and my money will be stuck for 5 days. The store manager should investigate this and mete out appropriate actions, otherwise, I will report this to corporate if my pick-up orders gets cancelled still all the time.
