We came here for help on a damaged family lamp. She was so willing to help and was so friendly. She gave us a bid and was easy to work with. I love her store and her furry assistant. We will be back soon. Thank you!

The best glass shop in Salt Lake! Unbelievable selection of glass that I have not witnessed at any of the numerous shops I’ve been to. It’s nice you can purchase the glass in small amounts too - as opposed to buying an entire sheet. In addition to glass, there’s a huge supply of tools and accessories for any project! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and very polite to answer any questions for any project I’m gearing up for! My “go to” glass shop!! I’d give six stars if possible…

The best glass shop in Salt Lake City! The glass selection is second to none. However there's much more than just glass - as there's a selection of tools and accessories as well. The owner is most knowledgeable and helpful to assist.

Don’t count on them being open during the hours they say they will be open. They could have put a post on social media easily enough so people would know they were closed on a day they are regularly open, saving potential patrons the trip (one hour each way in my case)

The beginner stained glass class was a blast! I left with the confidence to take on my own projects at home. If you’re interested in learning glass I highly recommend a class with Allison!

I have been creating art glass for just over 12 years now, and when I moved to the Salt Lake Valley in 2013, I was pleased to discover such a dynamic asset in Western Art Glass as I continued to hone my glass hobby skills. With Allison's breadth of experience in all aspects of glass art, she has been a tremendous help; even when I am not making a purchase, her advice and guidance are offered often with various options for my issue while also presenting the pros and cons to each of them she has provided to address my concern. Her inventory of glass is expansive and offers selections for traditional, fusing, and mosaic projects. Allison also keeps glass working supplies well stocked in her shop, and for any item needed that is not in stock, she is prepared to order it. Western Art Glass offers classes throughout the year, from beginner to advanced, covering all art glass disciplines. Allison teaches the majority of the classes, but she also brings in guest instructors as well. So if you happen to be in the neighborhood of 2345 Sout West Temple, stop in Western Art Glass and check it out. Plenty of free parking in front of the store.

Allison is an incredibly talented glass artist and her store is stocked with everything I need. There hasn't been a time yet where I went in and didn't get just the right glass, tool, or great advice from Allison for my own stained glass project. She always has just what I need. It's all fairly priced and a good selection. Best of all, it's a local, inclusive space for all different kinds of glass artists. I know my money gets put to good use here (much, much more so than Hobby Lobby and their dubious ethics). I can tell Allison cares about her clients because I always feel super welcome. She has even helped support the nonprofit stained glass classes I teach to my low-income neighbors. Thanks, Allison!
