While walking to the management office to pay rent for November I had the check fall out of my pocket.I called Zion's Bank several times and their automated system would not recognize my pressing 1 for a personal account, so that I could get something done about this.I finally got Megan on the phone on my 6th attempt. (I tried the Zions website and there was no option for this)She told me they needed to freeze my entire account. I told her that won't be happening. Zions's is not going to prevent me from buying food for my children or prevent me from paying rent. Then she was willing to stop payment on the single check. (Good) I made sure she was aware that the NEXT check was for the same amount, because my entire purpose is to pay rent. Then she told me they wanted to charge me $25 to block the check.(Gee, if someone tried to fraudulently use the check and I reported it after the fact, they would be forced to remunerate my funds to me. Why am I even informing them then??? Why is Zion's Bank so fee-happy???)Then she read me a litany of legal gobbledygook, claiming that Zions Bank isn't responsible if they let the check through, even after they have been duly notified and take a fee to stop payment. (Any attorney can tell you that claims like this often have almost no force at all. ZFNB is seriously making itself look stupid by acting this way about it though)At this point, Zions Bank seems far less than competent. Maybe it's time to look for somebody else to keep my money with.

One star is too much...I can't believe how old style this bank is...Furthermore, to change 80€ to US$, the price was fix @ 10$... How can you propose this !On top of that, even knowing that the bank was empty, we had to wait as if guys were all occupied by... don't know why...To make it short : run somewhere else.

If I could give negative starts I would!I have been with Zions Bank since 1986, but lately Zions Bank Corporation has become one of the worst banking companies that I have interacted with, and I had been a customer with Wells Fargo and was scammed by them. Zions Bank is nothing but a scammer to their customers, trying to scam millions of dollars from their customers. On Tuesday September 12th, I deposited a check at the Spanish Fork Branch. When I deposited the check there were several items that were pending processing and had not been processed through. But I had a positive balance in the account.Wednesday September 13th, I get notification that my account has been overdrawn and that I am being charged fees, and that one of the items that was listed as pending processing has been returned, because of insufficient funds thus costing me more fees and penalties, because Zions Bank can't get their act together.Thursday September 14th, I checked my account balances online and it shows that I still have a negative balance in my account yet it shows that all transactions have been processed. It is apparent to me that Zions Bank has forgotten who has gotten then where they are today. I am to the point that I am filing a complaint not only with Zions Bank, but with FDIC, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and with the Better Business Bureau, for the way that my accounts and myself have been treated by Zions Bank. It is very obvious that Zions Bank Corporation, is just like Wells Fargo and other big banks, in that they want to scam customers of their hard earned money.

ZION VivintThis company purchased the debt from another debt collector who purchased it from Vivint in 2019.... The company held onto the debt with out any notification until JULY 2023 and then tells me I owe them interest..... This is a scam. They should have provided immediate notification of buying the debt and pursuing charges. Instead they banked up and insane amount of interest and wait until the last 50 days before their final collection debt to attempt to collect it.I called the company and the Spanish lady was very arrogant and lippy. I explained the debt had been settled and they still advocating that I owe. She proceeded to over talk and use profanity in spanish and hang up on me nearly 7 times when I called back trying to resolve this matter. Finally I got some English speaking guy explained it all and he is sending me some of the documentation.I feel a complaint needs to be longstanding against this company for the corrupt practice of harboring the debt allowing the interest to cascade and their license to operate in the state of Idaho revoked.

I opened the bank account today. The customer service was great! Explanation about fees, etc. was very detailed, and helped me with creating my own password, etc, the service was above and beyond. Thank you so much, Charity, for making me feel like a valued customer, and walking me to the currency exchange service desk!!

I am sad to say I am NO-LONGER RECOMMENDING ZION BANK. For the second time in three years I have made three errors logging in while SETTING UP A NEW DEVICE. When this occurs Zion Bank has REQUIRED ME TO TRAVEL 75 MILES to the CLOSEST bank to verify my identity and unlock my account access.Imagine being on vacation, in the military, working in trucking or the airline industry and being told you have to wait until you are in some part of the country with a physical bank before you can access your account again!!!No thanks, I just opened a new account with East Idaho Credit Union. They said they would fix this kind of problem with a phone call.

Purchased a Zions CD through my brokerage company. The bank broke a sacred covenant by not paying interest on the CD at maturity. You be the judge as to possible reasons why.

Dont ever use Zions Bank! I was stationed in Utah and had a car loan with them. It was the most toxic lender I've ever dealt with hands down! To explain, I have never spoken to any bank manager while making payments on a car loan ever!!! However, Zions made to a point to contact buyers constantly while repaying a loan in good standing. After, asking not to be contacted again unless there was an issue to speak of, i started dealing with an abusive bank manager that didn't like that I opted out of contact with them. She'd leave nasty messages and threatened to take my vehicle if I ever missed a single payment... I contacted the BBB and lodged a complaint, but it only made her angry, as I received at least 3 to 4 threatening calls a month over a 2 year period. When things finally hit a breaking point, my wife had enough and made the decision to trade in my brand new limited ed. car just to get away from them. Even though I loved my car, we traded it in for an older model Durango. Managers from the dealership were curious as to why we would make such a decision, so we explained the situation. They had a hard time believing us, that was until that same toxic manager called the dealership. She demanded that they explain their actions, stop the transfer, and threatened their future business dealings (of which they had none with Zion). They were dumbfounded, not by the threat, but by how the story was accurate. The manager simply wanted to assert her authority in the most abusive way possible and hated losing the opportunity to do so further. Again...the most toxic bank ever, as it was their policies that allowed this level of abuse to continue...even after a BBB complaint was filed and received.

It's the worst bank. Does not deserve even 1-star. App is user unfriendly. Entire management team and board of directors should be fired and expelled. The most mediocre IT team. They have hidden Zelle 20 clicks behind in an obscure location on the app. Don't bank at Zions. They will fail.

This place displays age discrimination and unethical acts. My mother who was in her late 40s was laid off from her position and was replaced with a young return Missionary. This happened in 2014 -2015. Had I known about the 1967 age discrimination act at that time I would have encouraged my Mom to go after compensation. This lay off ultimately led to her homelessness and death at 55. Zions corporation is corrupt and unethical.

Worst bank I have ever done business with!!! Haven't been able to use my card since I got it. Have to jump through hoops to maybe be able to access the money I opened the account with. So glad I didn't use this account for direct deposit of my paycheck!!!! They can't do anything over the phone and want you to go into a branch, kinda hard to do when you are out of state!!!!

Poor communication. Cash back rewards system is super clunky and dumb. Unexpected fees and charges all over the place. A small, but extremely annoying, charge every time I deposit cash and coin? I've been using them for personal and business finances for over 10 years, and I'm done. Stay away.

I like coming here because it means I'm leaving the country and so I need to buy foreign currency. Usually euros. It's best to walk or take trax but I believe they have some metered parking spots out in front. If you know where your going it makes it much easier to navigate this building. Banking and currency exchange is done on the ground floor. For anything else just ask anybody or read the directory.

One star is far too many. After looking up which Zions Bank branches do foreign currency exchange I picked the one closest to my errand route. Unfortunately I was told by the teller that they were out of the currency and directed me to another branch that was sure to have it - easy enough. Upon arriving at that branch I was told yet again that they are out and was directed to yet another. While on the way there I attempted to call to make sure they had it available. I got directed to a call center, not the branch, and spoke to a VERY nice lady who was doing her best to help, but could not find any information and could not contact the branch I was headed to. I asked her to verify they did currency exchange - she said yes. I decided to just head there and hope. After dragging my 4 year old to multiple different banks I walked in the door of the downtown main branch at 4:40pm. I walked to the nearest teller and asked about foreign currency exchange and was told that it closed at 4:30. I explained what had just happened with the other branches and did not even get so much as a blink of an apology. I really wish I had got the girl’s name because although my experience as a whole was awful, her customer service skills (or total, utter lack-there-of) somehow managed to be the worst part of it all.
