They can correct me if I’m wrong but they don’t take Cigna and they don’t take Blue Cross. I’m not sure who exactly this lab serves. Super disappointing to have to leave the in network hospital to go to another lab facility.

Wait was long. About an hour, but probably the best blood draw I've ever had. Painless and quick. And I had about 10 vials that needed to be drawn.

5 stars for Phlebotomist named Kenneth. Had a rough day and I'm a tough stick but he drew my blood perfectly. No pain. He's super nice too.I gave 4 stars total because the receptionist was very snappy and rushing me. She was nicer to the next patient after me, and then snappy towards the patient after them. I work in patient care myself and see no reason for it.

I would never trust this lab to collect any sample for testing. They lost my blood sample for prenatal screening and told me they have absolutely no way to track it, and that I'm basically out of luck. What an awful experience. I will never make the mistake of having a company with such poor patient care to perform testing for me or anyone in my family ever again.

My doc at Alta View FC left to another state and I had to find a new doc. She was amazing and sad she left. In between doc they were able to accommodate a my prescription. Then the new doc left. I had to find a doc accepting new patients. They couldn't schedule me to see a doc for 7 months. But they told me they would still fill my rx until I had my appointment. No problem. Then they came out with a new policy that I have to be an established patient and they could not fill my rx for 7 months. Now, I have to go explain myself and why I need my rx to Instacare or Connect Care. Horrible service IHC and Alta View! Given the rate they go through physicians and their stupid policies. They are horribly mis-managed. On to finding a new doc and place that gives a sh!t about their patients. Obviously they don't.

Make sure you confirm the correct test is being done!! I went in to the clinic to have my blood drawn for the Genetic Pregnancy test. They had me put my name and contact info on the clipboard and they said they would call me up when they are ready. I had my blood drawn and the phlebotomist had me confirm my name and birthdate were correct on the tube labels. (Neither the receptionist nor the phlebotomist confirmed the test I was having done) She asked if I had any questions and I asked how long it usually takes to get the results back. She told me 24-48 hours. I thought this was odd because my OBGYN told me the results can take 1-3 weeks, but I brushed it off and thought maybe she was just in auto pilot mode and told me wrong. I ended up calling my doctor’s office a couple hours later to confirm that the lab was doing the genetic test and not something else (feeling in my gut). The nurse called me back after speaking with the lab and said they actually did a thyroid test instead of the genetic test because the thyroid test was in the computer and the genetic test is a paper order. So long story short, they saw an OLD order for a thyroid test in the computer (which I had already done the previous week) and didn’t even double check with me, or check the date of the order for that matter. They just went on ahead and tested my thyroid again. I could have been waiting weeks to get the results of my genetic testing, before finding out they did the wrong test, if I had not called in to double check! Very unprofessional! It should be policy to confirm the test that is being done with the patient!
