I have been going to Amber Rene salon since Tracy Romaire joined that salon and have had my hair professionally taken care of by Yracy Romaire for 30 years. I first met Tracy when she was at Salon Dante and have followed her to the other two salons where she has or currently works at. My husband has also had his hair cut by Tracy for the past 30 years. Tracy is incredible. I would never have anyone else work on my hair and Tracy was especially compassionate when I lost 80% of my hair due to cancer treatments. I took my granddaughter to see Tracy when she wanted a specific service performed and Tracy spent more than 4 hours taking great care to make certain her hair was highlighted and cut exactly like she wanted it done. My granddaughter has been thrilled with her hair. I have never seen a stylist take such care of her clients and I consider Tracy to be a great friend as well as a master at her trade. I highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for an expert stylist colorist and caring individual. Thank you Tracy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Candace! She’s amazing and I love her! I wish I hadn’t switched from her.
Unfortunately, this review is about Tracy. Over the years, my experience with her didn’t just disappoint me, it made my lifelong scalp condition so much worse because of her bad advice.
First, let me say: Tracy is talented with color placement and cuts. It’s why I kept going back.
When I first started seeing her (only 1–2 times a year usually), I didn’t have any obvious scalp problems. About a year in, I began noticing a lot of flakes. I even apologized to her and said I was planning to see a dermatologist since Head & Shoulders wasn’t working. Tracy immediately reassured me it wasn’t dandruff; she said it was just from the dry Utah air. She told me NOT to see a dermatologist because they’d “ruin my gorgeous hair with unnecessary chemicals” and just take my money. Instead, she recommended Paul Mitchell’s tea tree shampoo, which the salon was selling at the time.
I trusted her and used it for over a year. At first it seemed to help, but eventually the symptoms came back worse with painful itchiness and burning. When I told Tracy this, I mentioned I’d been faithfully using the tea tree shampoo she recommended and asked for her advice if I wasn’t using it correctly. She flat-out denied ever telling me to use it, saying she never would have because it’s too stripping. Instead, she pushed Kevin Murphy products (which the salon had just switched to carrying), claiming they were “exactly what I needed.”
That was frustrating. Not because she changed her mind (people learn new things) but because she pretended she never gave the original advice at all. If she had just said, “I don’t recommend tea tree anymore, and here’s why,” I would have respected her honesty. Instead, I was left doubting myself and feeling misled.
I bought Kevin Murphy on her new recommendation and used it for years, trusting her judgment. It took the burning edge off a little, but never solved the problem. Meanwhile, my scalp kept getting worse again. Eventually, I couldn’t take it anymore and finally went to a dermatologist. That’s when I got real answers: I have seborrheic dermatitis, a chronic scalp condition I’ll deal with for life. It’s not something Tracy “caused”, but her bad advice and pressure to avoid medical care absolutely made it worse and delayed me from getting the treatment I really needed for many, many years.
I trusted Tracy wholeheartedly, and I feel like she steered me away from real medical help just to make product sales. I was in pain for YEARS! Thanks for that, Tracy!

BEWARE. . . Marisa cut my hair. She made a lot of mistakes in my hair. I have been getting haircuts for 40+ years. She made the MOST mistakes of any hairstylist I have been to. She made some odd and rude comments to me. I was able to fix the mistakes on the front of my hair. So, I went back to have Robin cut my hair. Robin did a good job with the haircut. She found two extra mistakes in my hair that Marisa made.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and have always had a good experience, which is why I’m so upset to be writing this. I had an appointment yesterday with the same stylist I’ve used before. Last time, we went a bit shorter than I was used to, but I ended up loving it. I even brought a photo of that cut to show her what I wanted this time, making sure to explain that I didn’t want it to be too short again, just exactly the same to what I had walked out with last time.
Unfortunately, the result this time was nothing like the photo. The stylist didn’t ask to look at the reference picture again or check in with me about the length before cutting, like she had done last time. Because I wear glasses and had to take them off during the cut, I couldn’t see what was happening until it was over. I nodded and said it looked good, but once I got home and really looked at it, I realized how much shorter it actually is. My usual styling products don’t work the same anymore, and I don’t feel like myself. The cut is different from what I asked for, and it’s left me feeling deeply upset and self-conscious. The first photo with longer hair is from the previous haircut with the same stylist (the exact day of the cut) and the second is what it looked like when I walked out yesterday. Idk what happened. Is this normal? Am I over reacting? I know it’s hair, and it’ll grow back.. but for now, I feel awful.

Happy with the haircuts but the website said the 30% discount for new clients was only $5...Hmmm...for a $50 haircut that's only 10%. Please honor the correct discount or remove that from your website. Makes me not want to return.

The salon is nice and the stylists are so sweet and the scalp treatment was great... but i felt i wasn't listened to what i wanted as far as my actual cut. I emphasized many times I wanted layers layers layers for my thick hair.. I got one layer a inch shorter than my actual cut. I also asked for swoop bangs and had many pics to show and said I like my face framed with the bangs... she did very choppy bangs and I had to reask for my face framed twice at the end for her to frame is one side, the actual swoop side had no blend to my hair.. and I asked for a simple straight with slight curl under for the end style and she said she would add a curl or two but i left looking like a 70's beach wave that didnt even hold to get the mile and a half home... I had to go to a place 45 minutes away today to get the problems fixed, id recommend the salon to people who are looking for anything but a cut and style.

Easy to get scheduled! I was able to get in quick!
Kyra was fabulous in explaining the process, and giving an estimate on cost.
The products used are SO nice and it was awesome to see they were available for purchase.
Super great experience! Would definitely recommend to others!

I was looking for a new salon after 40+ years with my prior stylist who retired. I took a chance with Alyssa Watson-Siriboe and I am so pleased with the haircut and style. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and asked questions with each step. I am picky about my hair and she is my go to person from now on!

Marissa has walked me through a huge transformation in just a few months. I came in thinking I knew how to ask for what I wanted, but Marissa understands her art. She got to know my hair and understood how it would curve naturally and how it would fall styled and un-styled. She really listened and read what I was wanted without me knowing how to ask for it. She really cares about her work. It turns out that I went from a short shoulder length look with highlights to truly just wanting a very short pixie cut with very little to no styling and returned to Marissa several times over in a few shorts months to get there. She was so patient and kind and I really would have worn her several cut and color styles longer if I wasn't just itching to have such zero maintenance. I'm sorry about that, they were beautiful. Marissa is amazing, kind, listens deeply, and is extremely talented at hair artistry. I'm so grateful I found her. Thank you Marissa. :)

Tegan gives one hell of a head massage. Almost fell asleep when she was washing my hair before the cut. The warm towel is always a cherry on top. 10/10.
