I had to go back 5 times to get an account set up, they forgot to give me a debit card, then forgot to set up a pin, forgot checks, and then but a hold on my account. so unprofessional, I'm switching banks.

1 star only because I couldn’t give ZERO stars. This branch is the worst run branch of all the America First branches that I’ve been to. I thought my first experience was a bad fluke. Long wait times, many employees behind the counter but only one helping a long line of customers. But it has been consistent over the last year since I’ve started coming to this location. I only come here because it is so close to work but I think I need to give up on it ever changing. As I write this, I’ve been sitting in the drive thru for twenty minutes. There is only one other car. ??♂️??♂️ To be clear, this has been the only branch (Sandy State st.) I’ve ever had a negative experience with, and it’s bad EVERY time I come here.

Hello,Don't ever do business with America First Credit Union with Taylor, the Loan Officer, at the Sandy Branch, 9400 So. State Street. Though America First CU owes me more than $17,000 because of a mistake they made, Taylor acted like a cold dead fish, coldly staring me down, and refusing to apologize for the mistake. I have not heard one person from AFCU say they are sorry for the extreme inconvenience and aggravation this has caused me, for the past month of runaround and bafoonery !

I used to love this bank. I used to tell everyone America first was a great bank. Fast lines. Friendly tellers. No judgement. Just all around wonderful I've been with them since 2017. In the last six months the service has tremendously DROPPED. The phone times are NEVER less than 90 minutes. The service staff is short and tempered. No longer are they patient or kind. I am really considering shutting my accounts at this point. When I asked for bank statements the teller told me she was doing my a favor. A FAVOR-- to have access to my own bank statements because their secure server was down that was somehow on me. Don't bank here until they get it together

I just got an auto loan a week ago. I am a new member. So far the service has been o.k. I'm a little nervous now after reading the reviews. Its interesting how the first 15 reviews were real people who were very unhappy. Then suddenly all these weird reviews with 4 or 5 stars pops up. Please let this be a good experience

In 2006 my Mustang was financed through AF. Id never heard of them but was surprised at how many locations I could find. I paid my car off and brought a rose to everyone who so kindly gave a little leeway once in a while and always had treats for my fur babies . I ave dealt with them for over 15 years and only one time had a small problem. My wallet as stollen the before I was to leave town. We shut my cards down and told me to drop by to grab a new one. It would be ready and goodto go. Wet to pick it up on my way to the airport ,no one the had s clue to wht i needed! Thank God I had another bank card with me, which unfortunately really sucked with a ton of overdrafts. If it was not a work trip. Id have not gone! Got my new card from AF 12 days later... not good. Stlll... BEST Ive dealt with. Thanks!

AFCU as a whole only earns three stars from me but this location is a joke. It’s as if they challenge their employees to make their members wait as long as possible in the drive up. Looking to switch financial institutions in the next few weeks. Would not recommend AFCU to anyone anymore. A real shame - a few years ago I would have recommended to everyone. I’ve been a member for ten years and the last two years have been very disappointing.
