Horrendous people working here. One guy literally yelled in the toy isle “oh my god people clean up after your kids!” directed at me and another guy with kids….. neither of our kids were the ones to leave toys on the ground. That was people in the isle before us. Literally ruined my entire day while I had already been really struggling. So unnecessary. Never come here.It was a heavy built short to average height guy. Maybe 30s-40’s.

I love going here, all their stuff is super cheap, I once found a brand new squishmallow, about 20 inches for 3 dollars. I get clothes here all the time. Much cheaper and better than any other store I've been to.

Went to this location today and was very impressed. It was super organized (by color) throughout the store, it smelled good, and the employees were nice. I also appreciated the hand sanitizer at the exit.

Fam n I had picked out several odds n ends over the course of an hour. Last stop in collectibles (locked cabinets)I saw a toy gun with a $3 price sticker. I asked the store associate (Brandon) if he could unlock the cabinet so I could inspect it. After checking out and discovering a few broken/malfunctioning issues w it, I still felt $3 was a fair deal. After indicating my desire to purchase it however, B peeled off the $3 sticker and revealed a $10 sticker. After some back-and-forth about their shady practices of false advertising I asked to speak to a manager, which he said they didn’t have. I proceeded to the front of the store to find one. Spoke to Aaron who identified himself as a manager. I explained the situation, we walked back to look at the toy gun in question, and he too was very rude and obstinate, refusing to even budge on the higher price. Not sure how they can continue operating as a “non-profit”, when all of their merchandise is donated, and they charge exorbitant prices for everything! But as a civil rights investigator, I can assure that these issues will be looked into further!

Donations guy was a real multi sensory experience, he was filthy and smelled aweful, he was swearing and ranting like the meth head he appeared to be. He needed mental health help and counseling more than anything, I seriously wonder about the judgement of the management putting someone like that out in front of the public where people have kids.

I'm not going to label my experience but another customer left her purse and cart at the register to go back and get something. Perfectly normal...my daughter and I walked up to the register opposite and the cashier is looking at something wasn't really paying attention. But, she glances up and sees us and then pulls the customers cart closer to her. I know whats going on but say nothing. The lady comes back pays for her things and starts to leave and the cashier asks if she got her purse. Why would you ask her that if she has a cart full of clothes, that she just paid for, and has to take to her vehicle? Again, not labeling my experience but seems like we were labeled.

This location has started rapidly increasing their prices on some items. I saw a pair of ripped, stained basic Nike women’s athletic shoes for $15!!!! And a pair of stained white converse for $20! Their shoes used to be between $4-8. It’s just disgusting. They can’t even blame inflation because they get everything for FREE.

I always find the best items here, i get compliments on my outfits and have found so many wonderful things! Everything is priced fairly and affordably for those less fortunate, which is a blessing.I admire how they actually take the time to make sure the clothes are organized and dont have tears or stains in them, or have the nerve to sell shoes so worn down they deserve to go to the trash, unlike other thrift stores ?The music is nice, it is tidy, and i always enjoy coming here! ?

Beware! NOTHING but RESELLERS! If you're on a fixed income or otherwise looking to save some money (like this store was ORIGINALLY intended for) you will not find anything. Anything of any quality has already been snapped up by resellers trying to profit from the generosity of others. And they stay in the store all day every day, so there's never a chance to maybe find something they missed. I, for one, will not be shopping at this or any other Deseret Industries until policies are put in place to discourage these greedy resellers from taking DONATED goods out of the hands of the needy.

Owned by the Church?Selling garbage to the poor. The people that need help, because they're poor. The very reason the COMMUNITY DONATES to DI, to help the less fortunate, or poor. But that's a church owned business, sorry, charitable organization that provides a service to the community. Or no, just selling junk to poor people? The garbage the rich didn't want.An employee told me "they throw away the things that don't sell". Only way to get a deal is know somebody in the back and get fed a deal. I've seen it happen. Tio will bring it right to ya, just wait.

The individual at the collectibles counter commented on my spouses "end racism" shirt this evening, and then said "is it bad that I don't agree with that" and then proceeded to ask if we hung a rainbow flag outside of our home. Absolutely disgusting. I don't love the ideals of the LDS church, but enjoy a good thrift. However, these blatantly racist and homophobic comments really shed some light on the ideals the Mormon church holds and the types of people they are willing to hire to work in their establishments. Although two people discontinuing to shop at a billion dollar "non-profit" won't make a difference, hopefully sharing the experience will shed a small ray of light on the kind of "choosing the right" this "church" does.

I went here to buy myself a shirt and the selection was surprisingly very good! The prices weren't too bad either!

I was Helping a black family in my ward with a bishop’s order when a manager named Austin said it looks like they should be working and not taking advantage of the church’s goodwill. He made it very obvious of his racist nature after he continued with many other hurtful words. They have informed me the family will be suing. The attorneys will be in contact.

Went for thrifting fun half an hour before close. At seven immediately, an employee turned off the building's lights and began yelling at customers to leave, including banging on dressing room doors. All before five minutes after. They put my stuff away and all but pushed me out the door lol. Unimpressed to say the least. I understand wanting to go home, but yelling at and shooing customers one minute after close is very disappointing.
