Beautiful hike that’s very conveniently located. Try to get all of the entrances from the AllTrails app if possible

Pet owners avoid at at costs! Horses might be okay but NOT dog friendly. My dogs didn’t even get very far before they started whimpering in horrible pain! They both got covered in head to paw with the worst thorn stickers I’ve ever experienced. It took hours to get them out of them and myself while trying to help them. Even after the thorns got removed they continued to be in pain for two days. Horrible experience!!!! Would not recommend anyone who loves dogs try this place.Dog-friendliness: -100 warning horrible do not attempt!!!!!

This trail system is unique due to the stunning view of the Wasatch mountains right in your face to the East, and a view of the valley to the West. Right at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, there's no better view from the city. There's running water in the creeks, there's indigenous dwellings and artifacts, and there are dogs and horses and mountain wildlife. For an extra challenge, run in the sand/mulch combo or bring your mountain bike and connect to other great trails.

This "park," is more of a open ravine area where several equestrian trails with bark have been manicured for horse back riding.I walk my Dog here a couple times per week. The trails that are not covered in 4" of bark chips are dirt and uneven. The creek/river is about 10 to 12' wide and very clean, having your dog on leash is posted as enforced, I imagine based on the horses that use the area that dogs have been a nuisance for riders.Anyway, it is located at the base of bell canyon area and the views are really nice, the trails in and out are not flat and I would reccomend hiking boots or aggressive soled shoes suited for variable terrain. It's more strenuous than a typical park with steep trails loose gravel and dirt. It is a ravine with a large creek and several trails that you can choose from in all directions.Dog-friendliness: On leash only and signage states enforced.

This place is gorgeous and fun for nature walks. A lot of people on horses and walking their dogs out here when we came at dusk to stretch our legs.Once it starting getting dark, five to seven deer were spotted coming into the park.A pretty special place and close to the mountains. It’s so nice to have these green spaces. The water was pretty high too since we had so much snow. This is the best time to go!

Dimple Dell Regional Park Trail was very pleasant to walk. The part we were on was easy. Easy on the feet - most of the trail was deeply mulched. We saw a few horses. The mountains were beautiful. There was a light mist at the bottom. The stream was nice and full and had a lovely sound. We finished the circle in about an hour. There were a few branches heading off the trail. The area was very clean. Restrooms, fountains, and doggie bags were available at the trailhead.Restrooms: Available at the trailheadDog-friendliness: Doggie bags at the trailheadPicnic area: Picnic bench available

I take my horse here, lots of fun things to go over and under. Most of it is sand or woodchips. It is an easy ride that is great for new horses or riders. So far I haven't had issues with off leash dogs.

Very fun place to go! very scenic and the stream is very fun! lots of trails that are good for walking your dog, going for a run, or even just walking with friends. Also good for horse riding, but the horse poop can become abundant on the trails.

Honestly best park ever! I love that I live close and can walk to the park when I desire, I also do ride horses and enjoy watching the horses go by . Sadly I don’t own a horse to bring to the park but hopefully one day because this park is so gorgeous and so peaceful! Most people I see there are really respectful and nice. My family loves bringing are dogs to the park to get some energy out and they love it. There’s so many awesome trails to hike around and benches to have a picnic at. There’s hitching posts for your horses and nice fields to sit in. And a nice little park for children to play in. I really enjoy this park and recommend going there.

This park is very energizing in a spiritual/supernatural way. You get both feelings of dark and light activity. If you are open to explore an area of metropolitan Salt Lake County for paranormal activities or even a place to relax, read a book, walk the dog...then this park is definitely the place to be.Dog-friendliness: Animals, domestic and wild.Picnic area: Plenty.
