I've been a very long-standing patron of this specific location, member of the Inside Track Club, etc. I absolutely adore the staff, their friendliness and helpfulness. I know most of them on a first-name basis and see them more often than I do my friends! You'd think I would be giving the full 5 stars at this point. Well, I will tell you that the ONLY reason for the 2 stars is solely due to the Store Manager (Ryan). This guy is the complete antithesis of the store staff. They recently redesigned the layout of the checkout line (added an entrance to it and the turns like at TSA). Well, it's about 45 feet from the 1st register to some obscure line on the floor where it says to please wait here. Well, there's about 6 checkout stands and he was the only one working a register... down about 45ft from that line. They have items on a rack for people to look at and grab while they're waiting (which I did). He proceeds to tell me, "Sir, could please wait back there on that line?" Here is where I'm confused on a few different levels and where this guy's mentality is at. 1. There are items on display with the prices on that side of the rack (which I purchased 3 random items from it). If it's mandatory to wait way back on that line, doesn't it defeat the purpose of even HAVING items on display? C'mon, pal... this is retail 101. 2. Why are they mandating this incredibly long distance at this point? This is Covid-era stuff. Is it for some "safety" hazard that someone needs to stand 45ft away from another customer? 3. Buddy, we're not 1st graders. We're grown adults that aren't concerned with your new customer preferences on where we're "allowed" to be. Don't tell me where the hell I can or cannot stand. Treat your customers with a little dignity.. there was 1 person in front me and he was with YOU at the register. Up until a few weeks ago when they redesigned this thing, all of us customers would be standing nuts-to-butts waiting for a register to open, so you just so happened to go the opposite direction with how it's been and just expect long-term customers to know your new house rules? He's about the most unfriendly person I've ever encountered at any store. You've heard the term "RBF" with females... well rest assured, Ryan has an "RDF" and looks angry all of the time. Hey man, if you don't want to be here, don't. Customer Service is why most of us come here. Lost the stupid "I'm in charge of everybody - including customers - attitude and know your place. I honestly would LOVE it if Steve was managing this location. He's about 90% of the reason I continue to come to this location, which is farther away for me than the other. Friendliest, kindest and helpful person I've had the pleasure to converse with in many years. I'm not sure if these locations are franchises, but if so, the owner should take a look at who needs to be bumped UP, and who needs to be on their way out. I'll still come here 100% of the time, but now this guy is making want to LOOK for more "rules" to break in front of him.

I recently visited Harbor Freight with the intention of purchasing equipment for my shop. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite having all the capabilities to load a light item into my own vehicle, the store manager, Ryan, refused to sell me the equipment. His reasoning was the lack of sufficient employees, which seemed unreasonable given the nature of my purchase. This not only inconvenienced me but also left me disappointed with the customer service at Harbor Freight. I believe a more customer-centric approach, especially when customers are capable of handling their own loading, is essential for a positive shopping experience. This is the only store i have ever had issues with and it always is due to Ryans lack of customer service and reasoning.

Nice clean store, not like the other one on State Street where staff don't care or help the customer. I'll drive the extra distance to shop here and bypass the other. Had way too many problems with staff and even management at thar one. Here they are helpful and kind and go that extra step to help.

I find good tool values when things go on sale and you purchase their up scale products. My only complaint is they under stock items that are on sale. My local store may only have 3 of the items in stock during a sale, for example, their new concrete saw, A great buy for a diy'er but only 3 in stock on the 1st day of the sale.

While searching for wench mounting bracket we had some questions. Graham the Manager spent 20 minutes helping us find the right combination. You just don't get such quality service at most stores now days. He went the extra mile to care and really help us! Great customer service!!

I called this store to verify that they had a part I needed asap. I communicated that I was coming from SLC and asked if any other locations had this part, and they did not. I said thanks I'll see you in a bit. I made this call at 5:45 and arrived at 6:05 to a closed store. I wish the holiday hours had been communicated to me over the phone, especially after all the details I had given.
