This DYII Kit activity is always a nightmare. This manager told me yes you have to sign up and I told her we did we were there an hour and 19 minutes past the time at the store we signed up at and they were out and the manager there felt bad and told me to call another store someone in the area I did, and she said she was going to put one aside because it was almost towards the end anyway so we drive all the way to the store and she said oh sorry they're gone first come first serve and I specifically asked on the phone if we drive to you you can put one or two aside. We understand they're first come first serve but when you call have a manager tell you they will put it aside. It's ridiculous they don't what a waste of time.

The manager Raff treated me and another female customer like garbage. 2 employees apologized to me for his behavior. Nothing but good to say about the other employees in the store who helped. Had issues with my pro-account but they handled. Raff on the other hand, should not be around customers.

Terrible service at this location's front desk! The representative at the customer service desk wouldn't speak up. My 80+ year old father-in-law couldn't complete a simple purchase because of this. Other employees sat by and watched as the first unhelpful person was unable to communicate with my father-in-law. I was shocked and if I hadn't intervened, he would have been brushed aside. In the end we finally were able to purchase his items, but it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. We were treated extremely rudely, and they said they can no longer apply his military discount because he hasn't registered with their corporate office. There was no attempt at any explanation or assistance in registering. We were told they required registration since COVID started, but we didn't get the memo. Home Depot sure expects a lot of technological knowledge from the elderly; such a disservice to our veterans!

Average home improvement store. Not a fan of them pretending to support military and veterans as a marketing gimmick for as little cost as they can get away with. Lowes is definitely better and worth a little longer drive.
