I recently had my car serviced here, because my engine needed to be replaced, and Hyundai‘s warranty was able to cover the replacement. When I received my car back, there were a few small issues that had been overlooked by the mechanic. I let Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne know and they were able to take a second look at it. The issues were resolved and the car now runs smoothly. Dane in the service department was extremely helpful and kind. I appreciate their willingness and professionalism to take accountability for the issues that were overlooked. Compared to other shady dealerships in the area (Stockton 12), Ken Garff Hyundai has integrity.

UPDATE 9/20/23: after I shared the original review and also shared my frustration in my social media story, we finally heard back from them. Kyle took good care of us, was very responsive and hooked us up with a rental while our car was there for a month. Luckily our engine was under warranty which they took care of replacing. Highly recommend working with Kyle!ORIGINAL 8/8/23: I urge you to go elsewhere. Never had such horrendous service. Our car was in the service dept for nearly two weeks without any communication about if they have even diagnosed what’s wrong with it yet. We were told different dates several times, and we tried hundreds of attempts to reach any humans via phone. Of course the sales department would answer immediately to try and sell us a new car, but service was impossible to contact. Spent hundreds of dollars on a rental because they were not communicative, and we had to drive all the way there for them to tell us they might look at it within the week. When they finally sent a diagnosis, it had nothing to do with the problem that was going on. Of course our expectations were low working with a dealership, but the absolute lack of any business integrity whatsoever is utterly unacceptable. DO NOT give them your money!

Incredibly unprofessional. I came in to buy a car today and found one that I loved. After test driving it, our first salesperson was caught up with another customer. My dad was on the phone with me and had some questions about the car to make sure it was a good fit. Since I couldn't talk to the initial salesperson, I asked Greg if he could answer a few questions. At first, he was really nice. We spent less than 10 minutes with him. My dad asked if he could come down on the price by a little over 3k, Greg said he couldn't (understandable). Greg then asked if I'd still be interested if he could get approval to knock off 1k. I was sold on it. I explained that I loved the car and the price, but also this was the first dealership we stopped at in the automall. I said that I just wanted to check around to confirm that this was the car I wanted, but that I'd very likely be back later today. Greg responded, "so even if I got the thousand knocked off, you weren't going to buy it? So why even waste my time by sitting here?" I responded by saying that his statement was unprofessional and that if 10 minutes of his time was wasted by me wanting to come back later today, I'm not interested in buying from him. He proceeded to make more unprofessional statements, so I left. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my initial salesperson, Isaac, came out to the parking lot to apologize and try to salvage the situation.I did shop elsewhere today and confirmed that was the car I wanted. Had Greg not been so unprofessional, I would've cut the check today. Isaac was wonderful and if I believed he wouldn't be forced to split the sale with Greg, I would buy the car. However, given Greg's unprofessionalism, I have no interest in giving this store my money.

I had a couple of employees answer various questions that I had. My main guy was Jose. He wasn’t pushy. He was very professional, but also fun. Most sales men can be intimidating, but he is chill and wants you to get the best of the best deal you can. I would recommend Jose to anyone. Every employee that I talked to or dealt with were very very nice, respectful and very easy-going and honest with their answers. My husband and I were there till pretty late and I never felt pushed to hurry up and leave.

My son badly wanted to replace his Jeep. Little did I realize it would be difficult finding one - they're more popular than a lot lizard at 2AM in West Jordan. But, he found one and started working with Jose Montenegro. Now, I've bought a lot of vehicles in my time. But, Jose was a true professional and unbelievably patient. I can only imagine that he deals with difficult customers from time to time. I would never be one of those - but, you can tell he is patient and understanding when some customers act a fool. Again, I'd never be that guy. Then, there was the Finance Manager, Jenna - whom closed the deal without hassle. Honest, respectable and fair. Did I mention how patient they were? While there are difficult customers to work with (I would never be one), they both bent over backwards. I'm so appreciative that I'm now committed to no fewer than 3 vehicles at Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne with Jose and Jenna.

Flawless experience. Super friendly staff. Jimmy was awesome as my sales rep. Carlos was also fantastic on the finance side. I even got to chat with the owner - who was very gracious. Got a great deal on a used car. Couldn’t be happier. We’ll done guys!

There shouldn't even be a star for this review!!! SO FRUSTRATING. Very unprofessional, POOR COMMUNICATION! We were told over the phone that they take walk ins from 7 am to 12 pm on Saturday. We got here 1158 am Saturday to be turned away and told they don't take walk ins!! Why tell us they take walk ins by 12 pm when we will be turned away?! WE brought both our kids just to be turned away!!!

What an Experience! Wesley in sales was amazing to deal with. He worked hard on finding us a car in our budget and what we were looking for and he delivered. We are super happy with the whole transaction, from finance to having a fuel tank of fuel when we left. Carlos, when we were signing, was super helpful and made sure we understood all the numbers before we signed. Great team to work with. I will be referring everyone I know to them! Thanks again.

I cannot say enough great things about the team at Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne. Katie, my saleswoman went leaps and bounds above and beyond to get me into my new Jeep. She even shuttled me home to drop off my car so I didn’t have to worry about getting two cars home. The sales team also stayed past closing to finish my financing. They also gassed up and detailed my new vehicle. 10/10! Amazing service!! Shop here for your next used car, and make sure you ask for Katie!

Jimmy is amazing! He’s sold us three Hyundai’s now. We have followed him to both of the dealerships that he’s worked at. He knows what he’s doing and we trust him with anything car wise. Even our parents have bought a car from him. We tell him what we want and he finds it for us. Jimmy is the BEST! He is professional and we would follow him anywhere. You should too. Ken Garff Southtowne is where it’s at. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you Jimmy. ? ???

Jimmy helped me purchase my Hyundai! He was amazing! I felt no pressure, he was up front with about everything! He listened to my concerns! He was very kind and genuine and made my car buying experience great! After visiting many dealerships while car shopping this was by far my best experience with staff and the company in general! I will definitely be coming back when I need to purchase a new vehicle!! ?

Ken Garff was amazing to shop with. I’ve been in the market for awhile and this was the first time I didn’t feel bombarded or pressured by a sales team. They process was smooth and seamless. Jimmy was my sales guy and he did great. Knew exactly what I was looking for and for me a great deal.

Service was performed adequately. Communication sucked! I received a couple of videos about maintenance - love that, although somewhat hard to understand the narrator. I know they probably do that 50 times a day but I don’t know about car things. Slow down. Enunciate.Picking up my car was also a nightmare. Around 4pm, about 6 hours after I dropped my car off, I called the dealership to find out if my car was ready. Left several messages. Around 5:20pm I called again because I hadn’t heard from anyone yet and just asked the person who picked up the phone to order me a shuttle, I was coming down to pick up my car. When I arrived, I was able to get the keys to my car fairly quickly. Mentioned that no one contacted me. The man who helped me was very nice and apologized. Ken Garff can do better. I shouldn’t have to track down my car.

Boo was amazing from the start. Agreed to pay off my truck without even seeing it. Everything was done with texts and email, and a couple phone calls. The Jeep was immaculately detailed with a full tank of gasoline when we arrived. Very pleasurable experience all the way around.
