** Mark Miller Subaru does not work on Subaru tuned ** If you bring your car in and address any issues they automatically will charge you full price for diagnostic and repairs regardless if other Subaru dealerships honor the warranty. Mind you my Subaru has an ECU update tune to compensate for the air intake and pipe change to prevent check engine light. Tranny had issues and they wanted to charge me $480 to simply look at it and then to tell me repair cost will be $5k. Don't tow your car here. Go to other Subaru dealerships. They told me I need to replace me ECU in order for my car to be worked on $1.2k but because they have a history of my ECU being tuned, even if I changed it or reverted the software in the ECU it would be unethical to honor my warranty. Huh? Why would I want to change my ECU to be charged full price for the tranny? Mark Miller is one of those dealerships you can tell has a service repair quota that they push hard and try to charge you for additional service. My interaction doesn't end there. When I got my car back from Mark Miller after decline their ridiculous service, they forgot to reset my windows and disconnected my dash cam. When I called to ask them about it, they tried to tell me it was easy to do over the phone. My thought was if it was so easy, why didn't the service tech forget to take care of these during diagnostics? Mind you for this diagnostics I was charged $80 which means I paid for a service and the service sucked. What does my dash cam have to do with my tranny? Why was it necessary for your service tech to tamper with my dash cam attached to my upper windshield If you are a smart consumer I would definitely stay away. The service team needs to learn what service means as they have no empathy or compassion when they speak with the customer. My wife who interacted with the service tech said he was rude and spoke to her like she was ignorant and stupid. This alone pissed me off. Previous experience with other Subaru dealerships in Washington State and Utah, no issues with my basic tune as they know it did not effect the actual drive train. Probably my last Subaru I ever buy again. The car market is way to competitive to allow pompous workers to treat customers like garbage. lol

I bought my Ascent from here October 2021. October of 2022 comes along and I have my trunk failing to open with the button in the front. All I get is a high pitch beep that won't stop or reset from the front or the back reset buttons. My trunk also will not open at all. My husband disconnected the battery to make the beeping stop. I take it in and they "fix" it for $100+ while I continue to have issues with my trunk for months afterwards. Each time it's $100+. October 2023 comes and the SAME issue occurs. I ask how much to fix it and she tells me it's at least $80 to just take a look at it. I've never had a car in my life have this many issues with a trunk beep that I keep having to pay repeatedly to fix. I don't know what an issue this small is costing me over $300 to get "fixed" and it's becoming an annual thing. I'm done.

The process was a little lengthy, but all in all our car buying process has been stressful and irritating but they made it so simple. I appreciated the time and kindness of the salesmen and staff.

Considerations: The financing process resulted in our credit being pulled again after explicitly stating we did not want that to happen. We were pre-approved through our credit union. We only needed a purchase contract and it was my understanding that was the only thing being sent to our credit union, without a credit inquiry. That did not happen and we now have an unnecessary inquiry on our credit. Additionally, we did not want optional warranties, I consented to waive information on the warranties to release liability on the dealership, and the sales associate continued to insist I had to hear about them.

The service department here is excellent. I'm regularly in Salt Lake and recently had an issue with the infotainment screen in my '23 Outback while on a long road trip. When I called at 8am, I was immediately given an appointment within the hour. Bri in the service department quickly took care of an update for the infotainment system without any issues. This is the second time in a month where the service department came through last second. Before this, they got me a roof rack crossbar 5 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. Excellent customer service. I'll return here every time I'm in Salt Lake.

I recently bought a car from here. The salesman was very helpful and the online aspect of the sales process was simple and easy to understand. My one concern was about the wait-time. My trip could have been cut in half but I was waiting for almost an hour.

Great experience with Bri the express service rep, as well as the phone assistants. They all showed patience, genuine desire to problem solve with us and help our family continue on our road trip. The service and amenities for those waiting was phenomenal!

My " check engine" and " brake" light came "on" on my SUV while I was driving home. I was able to get the SUV over to my local Subaru dealer so they can check it out. They put it on the schedule for Monday morning. And I received a free "Uber ride" home.

I was very impressed with Mark Miller Subaru's service. I initially order the wrong hitch, the next day I corrected the order and it was delivered the very next day! We are 4 hours from any major city and usually nothing makes it here in overnight and takes at least 2 days minimum. Also, my boyfriend had no issues with the installing the hitch with the instructions they provided.

MMS was hosting a free pet adoption and I stopped by to see the pups (they had kittens too) available for adoption by NUZZLES & CO to see all the adorable babies available as my friend was at work, so I was able to send pics and send info of what's available. The event seemed to be a bit and we'll organized. They also had my favorite photographer there from @fuzzy_love_photography. Of course I cad my pup in tow dresses up in her costume to see how the pups interacted with her. Mark Miller Subaru in Sandy has great employees too. When I'm in the market for a new/gently used SUV I'll definitely stop here and take a peek at what's available! Thanks MMS for the wonderful hospitality & your love for pets!
