Went in for a loan appointment. Got there 5 minutes early and checked in. The person we had made the appointment with never came out, and nobody acknowledged that we were waiting. We finally just got up and left.

Everyone here was so friendly. We had quite a few reasons for our visit, and they solved everything we needed help with, and they're so good to everyone, especially their members. We've been a member for a long time and we recommend them because of their convenience with everything.

We had a loan with the corp office for an RV, we paid it off & MACU insists on keeping the savings account open with dollar in it. I submitted a transfer to move all the remainder of the money out of the savings account to our other bank & they deliberately kept back a dollar to keep the savings account open. I try to email them through the website and & fails, saying try again later or call. I am not going to waste any more of my time trying to get my dollar back. I would never bank with this institution if it wasn't for an RV dealer placing our loan with them.

The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and ready to help you with many types of service. The is handicapped parking and automatic doors.

This has become the absolute worse place to get my money, the tellers have become absolute garbage. 1 of them lost 80 dollars of mine and the manager ended up courtesying me the money back. Now i give them my social, my name, my date of birth, where i live and they cant verify who i am to give me my money without an ID that i could possibly lose and someone could steal and use i guess because all you need is an ID not your information anymore thats supposed to ACTUALLY BE PRIVATE AND PROVE WHO I AM! WHAT A JOKE! DEFINITELY WILL BE REMOVING MY BUSINESS FROM HERE ASAP.

Busy, bilingual, bank, well credit union. We waited a few minutes in a short line. They were keeping things going. It didn't appear that any one line was taking any longer that another.They were able to help with what we needed and we were off to run other teams.

Logan, at this branch had the highest level of service. Processed applications, gave options for other loans, and step by step process on how to move my account from Wells Fargo. With a same day meeting to complete all processes. Mountain America hires the best people.

I established a HELOC here a few months ago. The process to establish it was a little weird since it was a combination of talking with a centralized underwriter on the phone and going in-person to the branch, but the two reps that helped were nice enough. The time it took to establish seemed slow (around 2 weeks) in this modern time, but it did get completed just barely in time for my needs.I always knew that my reason for the HELOC might fall thru, and that I might not use it at all. And that's exactly what happened. And I knew they would charge $220 if I closed the HELOC within 2 years. I'm now taking care of some other finance matters and need to close the HELOC, so I went to the branch today on my lunch break (once again, the d*** requirement to show up in-person). The rep that was assisting me was nice, but surprised me with another $74 fee on top of the $220 fee. She made token attempts to apologize for the surprise and said she'd provide feedback to the other rep, but it was clear that she was not sincere in either case. I asked her to waive the extra fees, but she claimed she could not. And best part is that she couldn't take payment at her desk, so in order to pay their $300 in fees to close an account that I never used, I had to go stand at the back of the teller line and wait. By the time I got to the front, the teller said "I'm new, and I'll have to go get help." By this time I had to leave to get to another appt. So I left having accomplished absolutely nothing. I clearly didn't leave enough time to get this taken care of, but they certainly weren't doing anything to make it easier or faster for me either. I will hopefully get back there soon to close the HELOC. I'll also close their required savings account, and will never look back.How do brick and mortar banks and credit unions stay in business? So many silly requirements, lack of concern for speed, and ridiculous fees. Good luck staying in business when all your senior customers have passed their inheritances to a younger generation.

When I opened my account one of the perks was free checks. Apparently they took that benefit away a couple of years ago, which I wasn't aware of. I was unhappy about them changing their benefits from what I signed up for. I went into the Sandy branch to talk about it. There was no recognition, much less an apology, for changing benefits on me. In fact the attitude by the employee was that I was at fault for not reading the notice they say they sent telling me about the change in benefits. The branch manager was in her office and couldn't be bothered to talk to me about it. So I give them a low rating for 1. Breaking our agreement (not the fault of this local branch) and 2. Poor treatment of a customer by the employees at this branch.I would recommend looking elsewhere for a credit union which I will be doing.

The South Jordan branch is a really great place to connect with all the staff. They are always very polite and friendly trying to help any way possible. I recommend this branch to everyone in this area.
