I reserved a 16’ truck at this location for my move today, but when I arrived to collect the vehicle, they did not have it. It has completely messed up my moving plans today. Clearly, one cannot rely on this Company.,Horrific service! Steer well clear!

I rented a Penske moving truck for my cross country move. Reservation was very fast & easy. I initially received a couple phone call confirmations followed by an automated confirmation system. I then received another phone call from them on the local level, again wanting to make sure everything was squared away & ready for me. I felt very confident all would go smoothly. Pick up day: our truck was to be available for pick up at the local Home Depot at 8am. We arrived a little later- 9ish. The Home Depot employees at the Penske informed us that our truck was not there & were not in a hurry to remedy the situation. They called Penske & said we can have a truck brought here for you... and then said it could be 30 min-1 hr, but they didn't know. They did call us upon arrival, but the hand truck (which we included in reservation) was not there. They then told us that this is an issue they've been having & that they "just don't have any available." Ray & Jim at Home Depot we're by far the most helpful, but we have to call back & forth between Home Depot & Penske to get it sorted. We ended up being without the Hand truck the entire first day. After calling & complaining again to Penske-- they assured me a hand truck would be delivered for us to pick up from home depot within the hour. By the time we arrived at the store, it had been given away to another customer. Finally, Ray was kind enough to let us rent / borrow one for a few hours. The whole ordeal was so frustrating, on top on the usual stress of moving. Honestly, will likely never rent with Penske again.

Don't come here. I got a quote for one day even though I told them beforehand that I was going to be an hour late... They said okay. They also quoted me $0.79 per mile. They told me it would only take 10 minutes to get on the road. NONE of that came true. First they couldn't find my reservation, then it took 40 minutes to get out of the store... Which included a technical support call back to Penske, couldn't get the printer to work, more calls, etc. The truck worked fine. He charged me for a day and a half, even though they told me up front they wouldn't, charged me $0.99 per mile, charged me for a dolly (which they never gave me) and my one day, 36 total mile truck rental for a 16 for truck came up to $91.28 (way out of my budget). If they are going to charge higher rates, they should quote them up front. They also need to train the home Depot employees better. They don't know what they're doing. Very disappointing experience.

Made a reservation. Guaranteed the truck. Truck wasn’t there. Sat there for over an hour. They tried sending me to an Ogden location to pick up a truck and I live in south Jordan.

I reserved a 16' moving truck with Penske on their website to pick up at Home Depot. I received a confirmation email with my reservation number, just like any other company. However, when I went to Home Depot to pick up my truck, there was no truck! I called Penske but was unable to speak to anyone. I was on hold for 30 minutes before deciding to hang up. I strongly recommend NOT using Penske. Uhaul saved me on my stressful moving day! Would give zero stars if possible.
