I brought my 4 month old puppy into the store to browse. One of the Petsmart dog trainers stopped my puppy and I and started to tell me how misbehaved she was being and how she needed to be in training classes immediately since she was so awful. We were just walking around, my dogs wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. She continued to clap in my dogs face to get her to sit, obviously my dog is not going to respond well to being claped at from a stranger. I understand puppy’s can be overwhelming but this lady just stopped me in my tracks to tell me this. not the way to get people to pay for training btw.

This PetSmart has the friendliest and most helpful staff, my wife and I just adopted a 2 month old puppy with very little knowledge of what the first necessities are, tips, and tricks. The checkout lady that was helping us (couldn't remember her name but has long red hair) took me and my wife, isle to isle adding, teething toys, cleaning supplies, training pads etc... and teaching us tips, don't know her name but she went above and beyond, helping us give our puppy the best of the best. I really wish I grabbed her name so I can thank her here.

Bad customer service…
I came into Petsmart to make a large purchase (just over $250 after discounted deals) Petsmart had sales going on so I would have be engaging in multiple deals. For one particular deal, I was short by two cents. The cashier told me that Petsmart honors discrepancies when it’s so little and the manager was called over to do the override. When the floor manager arrived, he was very rude and said they would not honor it, but I could buy more items in order to secure that rebate discount. His behavior was so poorly, that I ended up only purchasing a handful of unrelated items. My daughter was coming up to the register with our cart of even more items but ai told her just to put them back. We ended up going over to Petco and spending a whole bunch of money over there - Money that could’ve been Petsmart’s if the guy hadn’t had a power trip over two cents.
We are a household of pets and like to spoil them. Today wasn’t a splurge by any means. Ive spent well over that amount many times before in one trip. Going forward, we are now loyal Petco customers.
Petsmart- your loss.

On June 2024 at 5:30 p.m. I had a horrible experience with the manager of the store. He refused to sell us a fish even though I have a large enough tank and have had goldfish for over 10 years.
Every time I answered one of his questions he responded with a reason why I shouldn't be able to have that fish. He was a complete jackass and if I was a district manager I would fire him right away as he is losing your store money.
It's none your business? Why I'm buying a goldfish or what I have.
They had a 30 gallon tank with 100 fish in it and 20 of them were dead floating in the tank. Extremely hypocritical.

There are a fantastic variety of quality products to choose from. The store is bigger, the animals seem happy and healthy, and everyone is professional and friendly.

This PetSmart did an excellent job of grooming and caring for my dog Copper. He was happy and very clean when I picked him up. He seemed to love the staff!!

This store is surprisingly AWFUL. Totally mot a kid friendly place. Was racially profiled with entire family by two employees snickering and making inappropriate jokes. Terrible quality service, manager was mediocre with a racist demeanor as none of them tried to make the situation any better after the employees had made the racist comments. GO TO PET CO. Pet/C0
