I bought a new Gammill here in 2021. At the time, Lisa was somebody I really trusted. She even cried during the sale and I truly believed she was my friend and not just a salesperson.
My Gammill started having issues after a year. Corporate Gammill was unable to fix it and stopped honoring my repair request after I complained about them publicly.
It got bad enough that we had to get an attorney and tried to Get Gephardt to find a solution. We paid someone from out of state to work on it. It was all incredibly expensive.
While this was happening very publicly, Lisa never once offered to help me despite being the one that kept the profits from the $36,000 sale.
My machine still isn't working. It has been almost 2 years since we started trying to get Gammill to fix it. We're trying to sell it at a loss for anyone that wants to get it repaired. My husband reached out to Lisa to see if she could help get it fixed in any way. She said that it's my fault I can't sell it since I publicly told the news that it didn't work. (It doesn't work... and I would never try to hide that to sell it.)
When the news was doing the story, I specifically told them I didn't want them to talk to this business and make them look bad. But this recent phone call made me realize so many things that I thought were misunderstandings were just unethical business practices.
For example:
*The things she had told me about another quilter during her sales pitch were not true :/.
*My new machine arrived with a massive dent in it. When my dad brought it up, I said- I'm sure they didn't notice. He said you don't make a dent that big in steel and not notice it.
*I bought a starter kit and multiple times over the year they promised the foot change kit would come. When it didn't, she had an employee call and say that I actually hadn't bought it and they gave me extra thread to make up for it.
As a small business owner, I cannot imagine doing any of those things to one of my customers. I feel like once they had my money they stopped caring about me. Which is ironic because I remember in the sales pitch she said that 'we're not the kind of store that puts a machine in your car and sends you on your way. Once you buy, you're part of the family.'

I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful lady who really went above and beyond to help me determine whether my sewing machine needed servicing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. I had previously gone to another shop where the technician was pushy and wouldn’t even take a look at my machine, so I’m so glad I decided to visit this place instead. She took the time to thoroughly explain what was wrong with my machine and gave me a clear breakdown of the cost for servicing. I truly appreciate her help and professionalism, and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future needs!

Went in to have my machine looked at and wow, they fixed it right then and there! The women were so friendly. We became buddies right away. I definitely am going back. Everyone that sews or quilts needs an extra set of eyes and ideas.

Unacceptable service time. I called in mid June to get a replacement Galil board for a Statler Stitcher, and was told I would have to wait for a technician to come to Colorado to install it. Two weeks later the tech finally showed up with a refurbished board that cost $2000. This board failed the next day and I had to wait another three weeks for the tech to return. Unacceptable to have a customer wait six weeks to get their machine operational. Think twice before purchasing a machine from a dealer who is eight hours away.
