“I come here every Wednesday after an appointment. Their restrooms are clean, their stock is tidy and most importantly their people are friendly and helpful.
This fella Damon helped me out. Really great guy. And Pyper was my cashier. Also, a very delightful person.
Wish I could break the app to give more than 5 stars.”
“This is truly an exceptional establishment. Not only is there a huge array of some of the best clothing I have been able to find on the West Coast, they also have amazing staff with an amazing mission. Forever grateful for this place!”
“Mohamed and Kerry were very nice and polite. I’m going to let my friends and family know about this organization.
Thank you so much!!! Have a great day”
“Bought a pair of demo 2025 Atomic Bent 110's. It was hard to verify condition on online photos so called and spoke with the staff before purchase. Whomever I spoke with was super helpful and knowledgable in answering all my questions. True to their word these things are basically new and an incredible deal with earthweekend discount. There is a reason they were voted #1 and I would be happy to order skis from them sight unseen again! So stoked now got to find some snow!”
“I've been getting my clothes here for 10 years now, and now I get my daughters clothes here. You can't beat these low prices for great stylish clothes!”
“This thrift store is amazing and the service is amazing. They have a lot of Name brand items. You are sure to find something great. All the money helps out the community its for a great cause. Check it out. I am grateful I found it. ❤️
#neverstopdreaming”
“Absolutely an AMAZING EXPERIENCE, especially on a $1 sale day. The staff was prepped, very accessible plus helpful. Checkout was a breeze, including I save over $500+…. A very exceptional and clean store ran by an awesome team!!! Highly recommended with the BEST choices in all types of products and styles… wide selection! Christina;-)”
“This store is unique only bought one title and it was a good price however I wish the golden girls seasons would be at least 2 dollars but you know it is for what it is but got a good deal. Good way to support physical media”
“I absolutely love coming here, the owner is always so sweet & friendly. Her store has so many great items to choose from, the prices are fair & worth it. This is my go to vintage store anytime I get a chance to drop by.”
“Wow wow wow! I went here today for the first time, and I’m very very impressed. It’s a raggedy time to be a non-billionaire American shopping for Christmas, but a MAGICAL time to find this treasure of a store!! I spent only $68 and I have super high quality gifts for my family. My only worry is that the stockings might not have enough room to fit everything I got at the Value Vault! It’s very organized, clean, easy to shop, and the items are unique and better than anything I could have found at Walmart or Ross or any of the big box stores. They have some shoes that I can hardly wait to go back and purchase for myself, after the holidays. 10 out of 10, this store is legit and amazing. They are also friendly and there’s a discount for paying with cash.”
“When you are managing a busy household in the Salt Lake City area, finding practical ways to stretch a budget without sacrificing quality is a constant, daily necessity. For our home, Deseret Industries has been nothing short of an absolute lifesaver. This organization operates as far more than just a standard thrift store; it is a reliable community pillar that has supported my family through countless different seasons of life.
Providing for five kids means that someone is always outgrowing their clothes, needing new shoes for the school year, or requiring a heavier jacket when the weather finally turns. The sheer volume of everyday essentials a large family runs through can quickly become financially overwhelming. Fortunately, DI has consistently offered an affordable, dignified solution. Kelli and I know that whenever we need to restock on kids' clothing, hunt down reliable household items, or pick up a solid piece of furniture to accommodate our busy crew, we can rely on our local store. We can always find exactly what we need at a price point that respects our long-term financial goals.
Beyond the massive financial relief it provides, shopping at Deseret Industries brings a genuine sense of community pride. The stores are consistently clean, well-organized, and run by associates who are actively participating in vocational training programs. Knowing that the dollars we spend directly fund job rehabilitation, skill-building, and local humanitarian efforts makes every single purchase feel purposeful.
Over the years, this organization has significantly eased our everyday stress and supplied our home with high-quality goods when we needed them the absolute most. It is an invaluable, community-focused resource that consistently delivers both practical value and meaningful impact. I cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“To whoever donated the unicorn or the dolly, just know that we love them! My daughters take them wherever we go now. Thank you!
I wish more people would utilize second-hand stores. It would cut down so much on the unnecessary production and shipping of products that end up in landfills. This DI had a great selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books, and electronics. Make sure to check out the yard item area, too!”
“For my husband's birthday I came here looking for games. I found the Disney villains game. I paid $5.00 and on Amazon they run around $40.00. So I totally found a great deal. If you're looking for games come here and go to D.I.”
“I wandered into Goodwill the other day, and wow…what a place. It’s like a museum curated by a slightly chaotic grandma who collected everything from the 70s to yesterday. There were aisles of random stuff—some old, some weird, some that made me go, “Wait…did I really own one of these?”
I found a few things that made me nostalgic, and for a second I thought, “Yeah, I’ll take it all home!” But then I remembered reality: my house is not a storage unit, and I do not need a ceramic cat wearing a bow tie staring at me while I sleep. Still, I made a few videos about the unique finds, laughed at the quirky stuff, and felt that strange mix of joy and confusion that only Goodwill can deliver. Honestly, it’s emotional—because memories!—and hilarious—because, seriously, who buys this stuff?”
“I’ve gone to many goodwill stores, this is one by far has the best selections. The current supervisor at the store is attentive and friendly, I think her name was Emily.. she as super kind and friendly. The staff there are also super kind. Definitely my go to for a good thrift find! ??”

“So much great potential in the finds I buy. Thank God for this way to continually re use these items that have lost there use to one soul and will help another struggling soul to feel like they have something. Something more like a home and safe place.”
“I found some really cute shorts for the summer and the pricing was extremely reasonable, better than reasonable actually! The sales associates were super super sweet. I even forgot my 20% coupon from a donation and the associate was sweet enough to let me run to my car and grab it while the transaction hung in suspense. I was in the front row as far as parking and I was lightning fast, but it was still really sweet of her and everybody was really nice. They have a great selection and I highly recommend donating, for various reasons of course, but, there are four full-time single moms out there that sure would appreciate those clothes more than a dumpster!”
“The employees here are AMAZING. So kind and helpful. Just moved to the area and trying to find furniture without breaking the budget. I love this place. Some good finds here.
One of the employees was so sweet to my daughter. She ran upstairs and got her a treat. I wish I could remember her name.
We've already been here 3 times since moving 2 months ago 😆 I love it.
Clean and great prices.”
“Pricing is all over the board, with no consistency at all. I've seen 4 bucks per for dinner plates that should be no more than a buck. But then I got an 80 dollar set of tire chains for $8. Brand new, never been used. Idk, doesn't make sense”
“Good stuff here! Upper east side locale gets nice donations. We drop stuff here monthly. If you make a donation you get a 20% off coupon. Large store, lots of books and media. Probably like 75% clothing. Very little furniture items.”

“Cheryl and staff provided great customer service assisting my daughter with a return. My daughter is an avid reader and purchased several books we later found were out of her age bracket. They were very understanding and willing to work with her. Great job! You help was greatly appreciated.”
“I love love love Preloved!
Truly my favorite way to thrift and my favorite way to let go of items I no longer need. The staff is always so kind, and I love that they have a play area for kids. My child’s and my wardrobe are almost exclusively from Preloved at this point.
Only reasons it lost a star:
-they pay their employees crap
-this location often has lots of empty spaces, which just isn’t as fun to shop as a full store”
