I visited Home Depot today for just a couple of items and needed those wood cut down to size. Jerry gladly helped me get the items I needed cut. He did it like I was his own mom. I felt well taken care of. I asked the guy in the paint station for advice. he gladly gave me his time and expertise. I asked 3 other guys where stuff was. One called Jerry to help me cut my wood. Everyone was wonderful right up to the counter. A lovely lady with red hair was more than happy to help me. Thank you Home Depot for hiring people who serve you with a smile.

I found that a dishwasher I bought online just one week ago was reduced in price 15% in store today. I was told by the rude customer service counter associate that I had to take the issue to the online Home Depot site. Online, they said that I had to talk to the store. They would not discount the price since it was a regional pricing issue. BS!Only one of four store associates was actually helpful. The woman at the customer service counter was rude. A guy in appliances was a bit busy, but acted like he knew nothing even though I saw him help a woman with refrigerators in the department. The appliance associate was busy. One associate did ask if I needed assistance, but was not knowledgeable about appliance purchase issues.Needless to say, we will not be buying any more appliances from them.

I'm 88 years old and went in the garden entrance. I have such difficulty walking so I asked the Cashier if someone could bring me a Silver Bullett hose because I couldn't walk any further. He quickly said "No--sorry". There was a young man putting out plants close to the Register. I asked him and he said he did not work for HD--he worked for the plant company. BUT, he quickly said he would help me. I waited at the Register and he went and got it for me. It's not fun to be old and have to ask for help. Grateful for the young man who helped me. Sad that HD employee had no compassion.

Mounting a tv for the first time, I went to an associate to help ensure I got the right tools. Lady clearly didn't have the expertise I was looking for and just fetched me some 3 inch drywall screws. Not feeling fully taken care of, I went up to Tim, told him the situation, we agreed that the lady who initially helped me didn't know what she was doing and then Tim proceeded to help put me on the right track. He then walked with me to the register and blessed me with a random act of kindness because to him I'm "a good guy". It made my day. The 5 stars are solely for Tim. Thank you brother, I hope you see this.

Let me tell you that Home Depot or at least their insurance company (Sedgwick) does not give a crap about their customers or their property. My car was struck with one of their carts doing substantial damage because the parking lot at this location is sloped so it must have gained quite a bit of momentum. After going back and forth with their insurance company for over 2 weeks now they are telling me that they are not responsible. They wouldn't even pull the surveillance footage and said that if a customer doesn't return their cart and it gets blown down the hill into someone's car that they are not liable!? The manager mentioned this had happened before and yet there are no cart stops or any kind of preventative measures to prevent this from happening to others. Now I not only have to pay the $500 deductible myself but will also have to go through the hassle of taking them to small claims court to recoup that cost. Just keep that in mind when you park your car at this Home Depot or any of them for that matter as your property will not be protected.

I generally have great staff experiences at my hometown Home Depot. Val in electrical was exceptionally helpful today & cheerfully went the extra mile to help me find what I was seeking for honey-do projects; top shelf!

I have been researching dishwashers and had settled on the one. I went to Home Depot to purchase. When I got there I saw many employees throughout the store so I thought that this would be a quick trip. After wandering around the appliance department for ten minutes with no help I went and found an employee. They called for help over the intercom. I then waited another ten minutes before speaking with 2 other employees. I was told that there was only one employee in the entire store that could help me and they were cutting blinds! Now this was not a situation where they were short staffed they had many employees there. This was a situation where only one person in the entire store was trained to do the job. How about cross training associates Home Depot? I ended up leaving frustrated and without a dishwasher. Headed back home to check out Lowes.

Pfffft. Really? Called to ask if they had sod. Transferred to (and disconnected from) the garden center 2x. A guy in customer service finally politely explained that "nobody knew if they had sod" and couldn't help me, sorry. I asked to speak with someone in the garden center. Transferred. Hung up on again. Say n'more.

Very disappointed in this location. We got all our items to the front and we're arranging a delivery only to find out the sale ended yesterday, but they hadn't taken down the sales price. This is the second time they have done this. The front end supervisor was Trilanna

Most of the time I write reviews when I get horrible customer service or outstanding customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I guess that sometimes bad experiences are like child birth. You forget how awful it is until you're back in it. In November and December, Home Depot messed up the delivery of my appliances, or they were damaged. I called some Customer Service number and asked for a manager. They've got a special group that works with unhappy customers. After all was said and done, I had a dishwasher and a range installed. I had them return the microwave. Because of all of the problems installing my appliances, they gave me a $250.00 credit. I just bought a mailbox for $1000. I talked to a couple of my friends and they suggested that I check with Home Depot to see how much it would cost to install. I called their customer service TN today for installations. I reached someone named Norberto. He asked for my order number. I was unable to find it on the paperwork that I got from the delivery person, or on my receipt. He couldn't tell me where to look. He said that he was going to transfer me to another customer service number that could look the number up. The phone rang a couple of times and it was picked up by the customer survey line, which you're supposed to get after customer service has helped you. I took full advantage of the survey and had to give them 1's across the board. All of my memories came tumbling back from my appliance installation fiasco. I didn't want to have to go through that Hell again. Since I couldn't get an answer from the customer service helpline, I drove to the store and asked for a manager. The manager wasn't working so the assistant manager, Danny came out. I told him that I've had problems with installations before and that I don't want to go through it again. He said that they don't install mailboxes and asked for the name of the person that I spoke to. I gave him the name and he said that he doesn't work in his store and that no one from his store would say that they install mailboxes. I told him that I want them to come back out and pick the mailbox up. He said "that's fine". I told him that I wouldn't shop in a Home Depot again. Again he said "that's fine". I then said that I will drive 5-10 miles out of my way to go to Lowes. He said "that's fine". When someone in a retail business says something like that to me, I feel like they really don't care if I take my business elsewhere and that they've got so much business that they don't care when they lose customers. I finally said that he's fine with me taking my business elsewhere. At that point he finally apologized for my inconvenience. I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars over the years with Home Depot. You need to find managers that are better at pretending that they care about the customers.

I went here recently to buy lumber for one of my first projects ever. Jerred was so supportive and patient while making the cuts I needed and was encouraging about my project.
