I have been with these guys for years! They have made a lot of money off of me with all the loans I have had through them and now I'm looking to switch. I submitted a skip a pay form FOUR TIMES and NEVER heard back. I called and talked to Jeff twice and was told he was on it. The last time I spoke to him he told me I should expect action in a couple hours. Here we are almost 3 weeks later and still NO RESPONSE. I used to really love this place. Now it's just trash

I had so many frustrating experiences in the few months since we moved our accounts from Chase to UFirst Credit Union. They are so nice and try to be helpful when you go into the branch, but sometimes I feel I feel like they don’t know what they are doing. I appreciate having staff having to call someone to get help if they are unsure how to do something, but it happens many times I’m there. Recently, I had problems with my password and went to the branch to sort it out. It seemed like the problem was fixed, but I tried to use the new one and it still didn’t work! I tried to call the Draper and Sandy branches and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Both of our boys went to University of Utah and had a good experience so we want to support the university in anyway, but our experience with the credit union hasn’t been great.

I’m not sure what happened with their recent name change but ever since then the service is terrible! and my entire fam has banked with them for 20+ years. The new app is miserable which used to show my kid’s names on ea. account, it all went away….why? ??♂️ Instead it is ID’d by random numbers that makes no sense. It took 1 hr on the phone with technical support to recreate accounts tied to names. Still not as good.The mobile deposit app has only worked 1/4 of the time, it’s so glitchy, never once had an issue before. Just getting these “error-try back later” messages.I’m now trying to activate new cards, usually a quick, simple automated call. I’m currently on hold after attempting that but it’s just forwarding the call to their main line. What happened UFCU? Bring the old/ good stuff back.Not feeling too “U First”. I kept looking for a feedback link or phone number to convey all of this….nothin’ and no surprise I guess. So here it is on a Google review.

Every time I come into this bank I am always greated with a warm welcome. So far all the tellers I have associated with have been very pleasant and friendly, especially Roger. He was very nice and helpful. He took interest in my conversation and made me feel comfortable. I appreciate his enthusiasm to assist me. I recommend this location to anyone looking for banking services.

Worst Credit Union in the state! They will not work with anyone. Their fees are horrific, and no matter what you do they find a way to charge a fine. Wish customer service experience. They lie and don’t do what they say and totally screw with you money. I’m at a different credit union. With ZERO issues. Run from University Credit Union

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** I opened a HELOC with this institution as they advised me it was a NO FEE financial product. I never used the loan, and after many years I decided to close the account. Upon asking to close it, I was told I would not be charged a fee. Then, when I did close it, low and behold there is a $200 fee. They admitted they lied, but said too bad. This came straight out of the VP of Lendings mouth. They are liars. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Absolutely trash I had a car loan through this bank and it was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever encountered. They have the most inflexible staff do nothing to help the consumers. Would give 0 stars if I could please go anywhere else!

I went to this location and was "helped" by Courtney. I was asking to have my account number changed because someone had gotten my information. She told me she would submit it and call that day. She also said that we dont know if this person got my information so it will probably be denied. She then took my debit card and shredded it. She was extremely rude and awful about the whole situation. . I NEVER got a call from her and now I have hope I dont have any unauthorized transactions AGAIN. Her working there makes me want to switch credit unions. Worse customer service I have ever had!

This year alone I have had 6 paychecks from the company I work for, late. They say it’s my work but every one from my work that I talk to with a credit union get paid on time. The branch manager is completely not helpful at all and actually arrogant. I was with Cyprus credit union for 15 years and never had this issue. Mountain America was consistent as well. I will be leaving the credit union when my paycheck comes in late on Monday and will close my account for good. Then I’ll be able to be relieved from this place.

Need to cross train employees. 2 employees can open accounts. 1 on lunch. I Waited 30+ minutes while 3 tellers were just standing around. I watched the tellers suggest to customers to try other branches to open accounts and wire funds.
