Wish I could give 0 stars. Waited in line 10 minutes or so, only to have the pharmacist close the window in my face. Sorry lunch time. Nobody behind me and I was in line prior to lunch break. Tried to tell them it wasn't regular refill, but that I needed anti-nausea meds (actively throwing up) and pain meds for my child who just had oral surgery. Didn't care. Come back later.I get that you need a break, but you don't cut off people already in line. What kind of customer service is that? Had doctor call in prescriptions to Smiths.

Get yourprescriptions anywhere else. The automatic refill system is a waste of time, they call you and say it’s ready, but it’s not. So you waste time driving over and sitting in line just to be invited to come back and wait in line. Or you call for a refill because the auto refill system failed again and you find out that they didn’t even stock your medicine and you have to find someone else who does or wait days for a special delivery of something they knew in advance you would need filled. I will be looking to change my pharmacy even though I will have to choose a less convenient option.

So much is wrong with this pharmacy. They have high turn around with their employees. They run out of the medicine my child needs regularly. They don't answer the phone. They fill prescriptions incorrectly which causes delays to correct, over and over again each month, month after month.

Do not under any circumstances do an online pickup order at this location. The staff will not complete the order in a timely manner, and the customer service when things go wrong with an online order is entirely unhelpful. Store Policy prevents the staff from providing effective customer service or completing an order whenever anything goes wrong with the system, which is not the staff's fault, but regardless makes ordering from this store a terrible user experience. If you need to order online or are in a rush, take your business somewhere that is actually capable of completing online orders, and won't waste hours and hours of your time for meaningless bureaucratic reasons.

Dave, the pharmacy manager, has given me a hard time on multiple occasions when trying to obtain my prescriptions. He has been accusatory and unhelpful, and overall unprofessional. I don’t feel like I’m able to have a conversation about specifics regarding fills or fill policies, have received very inconsistent information, and these experiences have left me extremely dissatisfied. I would strongly recommend filling elsewhere, where you can be treated more like a human being.

“Your prescription is 390 will be ready in three hours but then your deductible will be met and for the rest of the year you’ll pay 80 per prescription” they never sent the payment to my insurance company so now I have to take it to a different pharmacy and pay 390 again. Robbery. worst pharmacy in existence it’s like taking a road test from a cop. Go anywhere else.

I picked up a medication that had to be injected and they gave me four needles to inject the medication but only one needle to extract it out of the bottle. I know from experience you are not supposed to reuse needles. So I went back to the pharmacy and waited in a 25 minute line only to hear them tell me I needed to go to a different line at the next window and then I would have to buy the other three needles. They should've just have given them to me with the prescription. I truly wouldn't been bothered so bad if the pharmacist would not have been so snippy.

The service and friendliness at this location has dropped drastically this last year. Only few months ago Walgreens at the corner of 9400S and Highland Dr was like a family, nice people welcoming us into the store and knowing us since we would be there several times a week. It has become lately a very cold place. Just few minutes ago I was calling to schedule an appointment for my 15 year old to take the covid vaccine, and the lady who was supposed to schedule the appointment, transferred me to the general line to start over all the step to schedule the vaccine. Like hanging on me.... Very unfriendly... like in a bad mood... like bothered with my call???? Sorry to see the level of service drop this way
