added more fees once we returned the truck for things that were never listed before at the beginning. ended up paying more than double what the original cost would be for mileage and base price so i will not be using UHaul again and will look into other companies. completely ridiculous.

I was needing a small truck to move from Saratoga to Salt Lake area. I reserved my truck online, but they changed to location on me the day before. When I arrived, the trick was ready to go. The worker was friendly and even let me leave my car there for a few hours until I could have someone take me to pick it up.

I choose my pick up / drop off location (Saratoga spring) then next day they call me saying that I need to pick up the car at Lehi location?. So NO. I just cancel and choose another location better than Saratoga

Rented a truck, drove less than 20 miles & then I get a “fee” for $93 on TOP of the $78 I paid to rent & fill up the truck. Tried calling & get no answer from anyone! Ripping people off.

Very disappointed with the customer service we experienced.We rented their 10 foot truck for 4 hours and booked it online. Very easy and simple way to do it...little did we know...it was not simple or easy when they don't follow-thru with the time you're supposed to pick it up!We set up the pick-up appointment with their 24 hour pickup and "self-service" option and the pickup time was 7:30am. We got there and when we clicked "We're here", it said that we had to to wait until the store opened at 9am. How is that "self-serve" or "24 Hour service"??I was so upset and frustrated. I called their customer service and finally got a hold of someone after waiting on hold for 28 minutes. The woman on the phone said, "Weird, it should let you pick it up" and then said she was transferring me. I was then on hold for over 45 minutes and the call ended at and hour and 15 minutes (not exaggerating, see attached photo of the length of the phone call). I was waiting on hold until someone on their side hung-up on me. I and can't believe a company would do that.It would be fine if we had all the time in the world, but we were very crunched on time to begin with for picking up the couch we bought and it just ruined the whole morning and made it very stressful and upsetting trying to rearrange pickup of the couch and the rest of our morning.When we got there at 9am, the man at the pick-up didn't really seem to care. He said that it was Uhauls fault and he wasn't apologetic in any way. No giving a discount or expressing concern for the frustration that it caused. To me, that is unacceptable customer service! Be warned.

When setting up my drop off location they automatically picked a shop several miles away from my home town. I told them I wanted to drop off to my home town Uhaul. They said I would have to pay an extra fee of 30$ to do so. I paid the extra to drop it off to my local Uhaul shop in Saratoga Springs Utah. When we went to drop off the rental they refused to accept it saying they were over booked and refused to give me a refund. I said I had to drop it off to another location 20miles away. I spent 35 minutes on the phone to be told a manager would call me back within 24 hours. It’s been 30 hours and no call. Frustrating when I talked a coworker into helping me out on our lunch break that caused each of us to lose a 1/2 hour of work for the day.
