This is a Victra store, DBA Verizon. I will not be going back due to sleazy sales tactics disguised as poor communication and insanely overpriced services and accessories. The manager made me feel inferior and stupid. I’ve never been so grateful to return items in my life (even at a loss for unpackaged items because the loss + buying elsewhere was less than their accessory pricing). To say working with them bothered me is an understatement.

Exchanged phones at this store back in September of 2023. Was completely lied too about the deal I was getting. I was told my bill would raise only $0.30 with the new phone and they also said that i could get a smart watch as part of the deal completely for free and that the service for the watch would only be $5 a month. What an incredible deal right?Every month since the purchase my bill has been wrong, I have had phone call after phone call with Verizon to receive this deal and I’m always told it’s fixed and it never is, finally I filed a complaint with the executive branch online and they manually input the cost that I was quoted and gave me a credit for all the over charges. The experience to get to this point was a nightmare, and it all started because the employees that work at this store are liars. Don’t believe anything they say. As soon as my contract is up, I will be leaving Verizon forever and it’s quite literally due to the guy that managers this store and the store in American fork. I don’t know his name but he has a big beard and he clearly lies and teaches his employees to lie.

If you are looking for fast and efficient service this is the place. Im frustrated with myself for not remembering his name but (Colby?) was AMAZING. We made small talk and he mentioned he had seven years of experience and it definitely shows. What a stellar employee getting through the steps with no hassle and only your best interests in mind. Their phone selection is limited but that's just because they are not a corporate store. Also, because they are not corporate they can't do everything a typical Verizon does and that is FINE. People who expect the world to change for them are typically the ones that go and leave bad reviews. Overall great experience!

They messed up on my order and then made me pay for their mistake. After 2 weeks of waiting for the device and them never contacting me that it was in while paying for the service on said device. I finally went in to see what the hold up was. He even admitted to making the mistake but would not wave the fee. This is after quoting me the incorrect pricing for service which i had to find out about through customer service.

Bad experience. The representative provided false information regarding how my plan would change upon replacing the phone. The details became complicated, and I requested that they be written down or printed for me, but he could not do that. After receiving my latest bill, I now understand he couldn't do that because he did not want to be held to it. Long story short, I was given misinformation and my bill increased 20% when it was not supposed to increase.Go to a Verizon store. Not an authorized retailed. Lesson learned.

My wife and I received a text and email about a promotion Verizon was having involving a new basic S23 phone with a viable trade in. We went in to the store and paid off my wife's phone and paid some fees that totaled around $ 350. For 6 months now they have not honored the promotion and are charging us a monthly fee as if we were buying the phone. They also refuse to return her phone so we can give them back the S23. As usual Verizon is scamming people and we can't drop them because I'm sure they will love to send it to collections which are equally corrupt. Never use this store or Verizon for that matter.

Horrible experience, lying to sell overpriced ‘deals’ on accessories.Went in to pickup phone that I’d previously ordered. They began activating new phone and deactivated my old one, then told me I had purchased an accessories bundle. Told them I did not, and only wanted the phone.salesman stated my Verizon monthly bill would increase if I I did not buy the bundle. Told them to cancel it, and left. Salesman just happened to then forget to reactivate my existing line. spoke to Verizon, they stated the local stores ‘deal’ had nothing to do with my purchase and if they caused further issue to call them while in store. When I went back in they again tried to explain how good of a deal it was, but eventually handed over the phone.Used car salesman vibes.

UPDATE - The company did apply a credit to my account in the amount of the two charges. So because they rectified the problem, I am going from 1 star to 3 stars. This kind of tactic should be avoided (thus 3 stars - and the unhelpful associated today), but at least they corrected it for me.BEWARE!!! I went in two separate times in the same week to upgrade two different lines. I paid the tax on the new phones as expected and was charged an additional $40 per line. I asked if that was the upgrade fee (thinking the normally $35 dollar upgrade fee from Verizon) and was told yes. I got my next bill from Verizon and it had the $35 twice. So I went into the store and was told this was a setup fee from the store. They did not do any set up for me. I transferred all the data from each phone and wiped each trade in phone as well. I was told this was a non-refundable fee. It's annoying to pay the $35 to Verizon for an upgrade each time, now I also paid another $40 each line FOR NOTHING. I will be doing all my Verizon business online or in a corporate store from now on. These guys took $80 from me for doing business with them. Ridiculous.

I went into this store hoping to understand the deal being advertised via text from Verizon. When my wife and I spoke to the person at the store he was looking at his screen distracted as we spoke with him. We asked for clarification on our account regarding a credit we received when signing up. He was very rude and said “what exactly is your question” a couple of times. The frustration was that we were asking questions. He said “I don’t understand what your question is”. I was frustrated and annoyed that he was being so rude. I thought that he would help us like any Verizon service but whatever was on his screen was much more important than us. We planned on upgrading our phones but I just said “I think we will just go. I don’t like you”. He replied “I agree and same”. I then asked his name and he said John Stamos (lie).I will never go there again. He has a tattoo with “perseverance always exceeds on his left arm”. If you own this location, you need to hire better people.

Went in to upgrade and was expecting to pay the sales tax like I normally do. Noticed the transaction was more than I was expecting and asked them why it was more. They told me it was a mandatory “setup and go” fee that was an additional 40 dollars. I informed them that I will be setting up my own phone and that I shouldn’t pay the extra fee. They proceeded to tell me that all Verizon stores charge this fee now which I didn’t believe. After I left I immediately called customer service and they said that it was an optional service and that I was lied to. This was extremely frustrating and horrible customer service. I will not be using these guys again.

I can’t recommend this place completely. They’ve been messing around with my phone number for a little while now usually pretty busy.. two weeks later they keep telling me that my number is active on the Verizon net work, but I can’t get any incoming phone calls. I can’t get it any outgoing text bunch of liars.
