Eli was awesome to work with. Came from out of state to get a vehicle from them and he made the process very easy. No pressure sales guy.

Sold my granddaughter a car with an oil leak and a rotted wind
Shield wiper fluid hose. Refused responsibility saying “ their mechanic looked at it”. Be wary doing business with this outfit.💩

I wish I could send negative stars. I have no idea how this place received any positive reviews

Brought the car home it leaked oil like crazy. They give you the run around and do nothing. We went to put wiper fluid in and it went straight through. Be very careful dealing with this place.

I bought a 2015 Hyundai Equus from K and S auto and I don’t want to bash them too hard but I am pretty disappointed about my experience. I thought I got a good price I paid 7,000 for the car and have had it for about 8 months. Well last week my transmission started slipping and knew right away that the transmission was more than likely going out in the car. I took the car to Amco the next day and had them look over it and they said that it needed a new transmission. Unfortunately they quit making the car in after 2016 so it’s really hard to find parts for it. So Phillip at Amco told me that they didn’t even make new transmission’s and would have to purchase a re-manufactured transmission. It’s going to cost me 6,850 dollars to get it fixed, more than the value of the car. I’m not exactly happy about it. When Clay the guy that sold me the car told me when I was buying the car that If I had to replace anything on the car, I would still have to make the payments even if it wasn’t drivable that should’ve been a red flag right there not to buy the car. I would not business with K&S Auto ever again and would not recommend anybody else doing business with them. Just saying. Not to mention the fact that my job requires me to drive my own car so I’m a little screwed. Anyway, don’t buy a car from these guys. Ok it’s been about a week since I left this review now I’m coming on to edit cause now after paying $6,500 on a for a new transmission more than the value of my car likely I paid 7500 for it so almost the value of my car now I have to do brakes and I’ve barely even had a six months You would think they would do maintenance on them before selling a used car. Anyway, save yourself the headache, and don’t buy from these guys.

I have had only positive experiences with K and S. I only buy from them and no where else in the valley. Love these guys.

03/2025: Keep in mind if you purchase here that they are not a dealership, they are a sales center. They will not look at, check, or inspect any vehicles that they sell beyond whatever they get from the auction.
I think the salesman there is fantastic. The other salesman is fantastic. However, foundationally their business practices do not instill good faith.
I bought a vehicle from them in January, and immediately discovered Issues within a couple of days: A bent door that allowed rain to enter into the vehicle, A broken windshield washer line, the keys did not open the door if you locked the car, the plastic cosmetic covers on the front bumper fell off while driving, and about a month into ownership the check engine pops on for a broken purge valve… I’m not saying its their fault.
When I called with concerns a few days after purchase I was told they owe me nothing, and if I have an issue there are lawyers who would destroy me.
…. Avoid…
08/2025 Update: 7 months after purchase as we are three mechanics deep, new valves, gauges, sensors, MISSING parts!!, and what looks like a new transmission!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!
I’m going to petition for legislators to establish Lemon Laws in UT because of places like this!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM K&S AUTO!! i bought a truck from them that they said was in perfect condition. Before i could even get home from the dealership the check engine light came on. i paid 2k to fix it. fast forward a month and less than 1000 miles later the engine was leaking. the mechanics told me it needs a whole new engine. save yourself the pain and money don’t buy from them.

We would absolutely NOT recommend going to this car sales! My son bought a truck from them and in under 75 miles the check engine light came on.! It seems like they could have reset that light. We really wanted to think they were honest and that they would at least help a little bit with the repairs if it was a fluke accident but they did not help and now we are left with a big repair. Their customer satisfaction was not a priority in our case. Just beware

My daughter purchased a car here. Within the first month, it was in the shop more than she had it. By the second month, they were replacing the engine on a car that had less then $60k miles on it. Mind you, she barely drives and drives very well. Her last car we purchased lasted her well over 5 years with barely even putting 20k miles on it in that time…she just wanted to upgrade to a newer car. It was not until the shop told them that they would have it for a full month to do the engine that they offered a loaner vehicle, which was of very low quality compared to her car. Mind you, she was making payments on insurance and the loan the entire time. She didn’t even have her car within her access more than two weeks the first 3 months she had it. She finally got the car back and it had a sensor problem immediately, which their shop (they use the shop next door to them) couldn’t definitively diagnose, because it happened intermittently; but they later did fix it (at her cost) for $250. I will say the owner of the dealership did cover the cost of the two first shop visits, including the engine…. But we had to pay for the tow to the shop from Slc to Smithfield, which wasn’t cheap. She also was promised right in front of me that she had a 100k mile warranty from Hyundai directly when we went in to purchase the car. However, the warranty is only good for the initial owner, so that was also bogus. I would not purchase another vehicle from here. I can say atleast they made it mostly right after a lot of headache and expense on my daughter’s end.

We had a really great experience buying a car from this place. Spencer was excellent at answering all our questions and was low pressure on the sales. The prices of the cars are extremely fair and in good condition. I highly recommend taking a look at this place for your next car purchase!

I went to K&S Auto Sales to look at a vehicle that I saw online there that was closer in price to the one that was in an accident and got proclaimed a total loss. I tried that car and some other, rating them on a 1-10 scale as I drove them. A Nissan I drove had rated highest, but then, almost as an afterthought, I tried a Hyundai Venue that was newer than I had planned to look at as my last test drive. The test drive was supposed to be “just for fun,” but with no pressure but some good help from Spencer, the salesman, I decided on the Venue and I couldn’t be more pleased with a car, the nicest I’ve ever had! My lending institution, America First (Smithfield branch) also said they work a lot with K&S Auto Sales and spoke highly of them. I recommend you stop by and give them a try!
