I went over looking for a part for my old shotgun I recently inherited. He was very kind and to the point. I was able to get the part I needed.

Gary has been in the industry longer than some people have been alive and ever fired a gun. He is so helpful and willing to work on whatever firearm you bring in. I have purchased several from here and been very pleased with each one. This is a great old fashioned shop that will fix/repair any firearm and has a nice selection to buy one as well. Highly recommend and support Neal's gun shop. Phenomenal customer service.

Ive been here a few times and have always been talked down to like I was a child. The only reason I kept giving this place chances was because its a "small business". Today, I wanted to check his stock and he was closed when he should be open. so I walked away to a nearby business to run an errand while waiting for them to open. When I returned, less than 30 minutes later, I found a sign on my windsheild saying "not public parking lot. Stores close!" Between the condescending ude behavior and the passive aggressiveness whenever I try to give him business, I will not be returning.

Unfortunately the only gunsmith near Logan that I am aware of but honestly, buy your own tools and do it yourself especially for small jobs. Was charged $30 to put on a front sight. Didn't have to remove anything. On top of that, marred my slide and wouldn't give me a discount. Poor customer service.

Neil has been great to work with on a bad situation with our guns. He went above & beyond to find a part for a gun that's not made anymore! Wouldn't take my guns to anyone else.

Neal's Gun shop is really easy company to work with. They take into consideration the price of every firearm instead of just throwing out a low ball offer. They also have a great variety of guns and ammo at their store. Best local gun shop in the cache valley in my opinion.

I took my Mossberg 500 12 ga. shotgun into Neal to repair a broken "safety lever." I had purchased a " safety lever kit" from MidwayUSA in order to fix it myself. After several attempts, with no success, I decided to Neal take a look at it. He told me it would be a couple of days wait due to pending work. The next day, he called me to come and get it! The problem was the "stock" spring was too long. After he shortened the spring, the safety works fine. Good job Neal and reasonably priced. Will take other firearms to Neal in the future.

I have used Neal's Gun Shop for 30, maybe 35 years. It was a father and son operation back in the 80s and now is operated by the son. They have always been fair, dependable, and have offered good deals in trade and purchase. I have been satisfied with gunsmithing they've done for me over the years. I had some pretty complex work done through them, porting, stock replacement/adjustment and finish work. They've obtained excellent factory repair deals with Browning firearms and accessories. Smithfield, in the Cache Valley, is a small community and yet there are a lot of firearms people. The business end of things seems to be a bit cut throat. It reminds me of the hustling in Detroit, where I grew up. I tend to avoid the buzz and go with established shops. Companies come and go but Neal's remains. So if it matters to you that your prize firearm is handled by a knowledgeable, second generation gunsmith, choose this business. The "little guy" happens to be the one that knows what they're doing.

Brought a gun that needed some work while hunting, he was able to tune it, help me clean, fix the issue and even fired a few test shots for me overnight so I could have it ready in the morning. He showed up at his shop earlier than opening as well. Price was good and he definitely went beyond what I needed. Would recommend.
