The atrium is great! It’s squeaky clean and the folks here are friendly as can be. Their breakfast burrito will keep ya rolling through the day!I don’t know how old Lee is… he keeps the place running smoothly and efficiently… he seems to have the vitality of a 22-year-old…. But the wisdom of an old grandfather oak.Twelve stars.

Every year I spend a week at Snowbird with my family joining me here and there. We all live in the Salt Lake Valley. We always opt for the full kitchen and hot tub on the balcony. My favorite parts of the stay are the Cliff Spa (steam room specifically) the Family Pool and Summer activities (when there hasn't been an abundance of snow like this year). Biggest negative this year was the uncomfortable couch bed and one grumpy worker at the Cliff Spa who closed down the steam room 20-minutes before closing time one night. i do feel that there isn't really a family friendly restaurant where you can take grandkids and the game room is lacking compared to the one at Iron Blossom. I will be back next year!

A great spot for a quick breakfast with an amazing view. The ham panini was delicious! Great service.

Food was terrible and over priced - oatmeal texture felt like eating a bowl full of snot. One extra star because employees were nice. Amazing what a ski resort feels like they can get away with.

The rooftop pool is gorgeous and always nice and warm even if its the middle of a blizzard. Always clean and fresh. The only problem is that no one can tell me the length of the pool. Im thinking of joining the spa as I just moved to Utah. Is that information available?

We loved our week stay here! We live in beautiful Montana and thoroughly enjoyed this different kind of beauty! We took advantage of daily morning yoga( a first for us), then hiked and came back to enjoy the spa and outdoor pool and hot tub! The room was quite adequate with most importantly a comfortable! We did have a very nice view from our balcony! It is now going to be a yearly retreat ?

This is my favorite timeshare resort I've ever stayed at. The accomodations are the best and the skiing is awesome. So convenient you don't need a car. Ski in/ski out convenience. Lots of restaurants to choose from right on sight. And Alta mountain is two miles up the road for double the skiing experience.

Room quality is average. Cabinet door is about to fall off but the beds are reasonably comfortable. Room is not cleaned properly - we have had brown sticky gunk on our phone for several days, and despite daily maid service, it has never been cleaned. Friends who are also staying here have a sticky bathroom door and a rotten smell that the hotel has not bothered to fix. But the real kicker is that the service is the worst I have ever experienced. We are currently snowed in (“interlodged”) and the highway is closed. The hotel is offering for us to stay one extra night at half the rack rate. The problem is that the “rack rate” is about twice as expensive as the daily rate we are paying. So basically if you are forced to stay another night because you are not allowed to leave, you are forced to pay full price for the inconvenience. But you are not allowed to ski, use the pool, or even take a walk outside because you are interlodged. You get zero hotel amenities/ services because the highway is closed and employees can’t even get to the hotel, so it is unclear what you are actually paying for. And that’s not even the worst part. The absolute worst part is that management treats you like garbage. I was on the phone with the assistant manager Caroline Roush who yelled at me, told me she was under a lot of stress, and then hung up on me. It’s mind boggling someone like this can have a job in the service industry. I would give zero stars if I could.

I called down to front desk, which, transferred myself to someone, supposedly in charge. There was excessive noise coming from the room beside us. They we’re Playing loud music and their communication level was to the point of yelling, at many points in time. My son(11) and myself arrived with less than 3hours sleep from the previous night, due to a very long travel day. However, instead of looking into the matter and requesting a reason volume level, I was told too bad the quiet hours start at 10pm. So very disappointing for what is supposed to be a 5star accommodations, specifically at $1000 per night. Also, the heating system was certainly not functioning properly with the room temperature, upon arrival 69.7*F. I personally prefer 73*F, which it was set to, but instead of heating while sleeping(with my AirPods on noise cancelling) it dropped to 67.9*F. I went down to the front desk to ask if their was a solution to the situation. Just an FYI, to override the system you will have to push the home button, then temperature setting, then the home button again (hopefully this works). I would have thought that this should be standard information passed along to each and every customer. The silver lining is that this room was for one night and then we transfer to another room for the week. Very disappointing!!

We enjoyed our week at Cliff Club. Ski-in/ski-out, clean and updated room. Enough restaurants to rotate around. Friendly staff and people. My husband stayed here quite a few years ago and he was very happy to see that the facility has been upgraded.

This review is strictly based on the spa since we only bought a day pass and used the sauna/steam room/hot tub/pool. That said, we were blown away by the views and facilities (we didn’t book massages/facials/etc and didn’t use the gym). We went early and basically had all the facilities to ourselves. The views from the pool/hot tub are absolutely spectacular and it was fun watching the skiers ski downhill. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the check-in process was smooth. I would recommend reservations and if you’re an early riser you may luck out and enjoy some peaceful solitude.

This place has gone DOWN HILL. Pretty much everything about it was bad. •Snowbird is a far inferior mountain to Alta, and our plan was to ski every day out the door of the Cliff lodge (the only reason we booked it is the ski-on/off access), but the only way to ski over was closed every single day of our week-long visit. Which made this not a ski-on/off place for us and we instead had to drive over to Alta. •the service was AWFUL; everything from check in to check out was bad. We had an injured skier who was in the hospital on our last night of the trip and we had SIX rooms in our group- they wouldn't give us a late check out on any one single group so that we could regroup when we got the injured skier out of the hospital. Then, after telling us checkout was at 10am, they still sent cleaning people to our room at 8:30am who told us that we needed to be out of the room and checked out already. We also had 2 packages delivered for work during our stay, both of which were misplaced for a period of time before they could locate them and give them to us. When they found them, they didn't call us or deliver them to our room... they made us come back down to the front desk, that told us to go to the bell desk, who directed us back to the front desk... and on an on a few times. •there are only two places to eat. the downstairs restaurant is absolutely inedible. The upstairs restaurant only has about 6 things to eat, and they're out of most of them - and were even out of BREAD on our second night. They are also out of straws. This is all just the beginning. Go stay at the Rustler or the Snowpine lodge over at Alta... they're both much nicer and that's where I'll be staying going forward.

This place is really disappointing. It's not my first time at the Cliff Lodge but it will definitely be my last. Next time I'll be trying the Rustler or Snowpine Lodge over at Alta. The staff is discourteous, and even rude; the already expensive rooms do not include room service without an additional substantial fee. The food is lackluster and the service at the restaurant (where you're essentially stuck) is just plain bad. The rooms and the entire place are dated, the carpet is dirty, the hallways are dingy.

I travel to luxury resorts all year round. Warm weather and cold weather, been to nearly every ski resort in North America. The service and hospitality at this resort is the worst I’ve experienced. If you call room service, (which I tried around 15 times on 3 different occasions) they don’t pick up the phone and tell you to leave the order over a voicemail or online on their website (then there is no voicemail and it hangs up, and couldn’t find the place to order online). The people who check you in seem like they could care less that you payed for a nice room. The guys who grab your skis and luggage are not friendly and welcoming. When we check in, we had to go back down to the valet guys and re-tell them our name and room because they forgot to ask when we got there for where they were supposed to bring all our gear. The hotub on our balcony (we stayed in the owners club) doesn’t get very hot and the jets stink. When you try to make reservations in the restaurants or appointments in the Spa, the people who answer the phone are so incapable, I had to go down 3-4 separate times to make the appointments in person. I seriously could go on and on about the awful service. I have been coming to the Cliff for 10 years now, it seems the quality of care and such has gone down dramatically as if they realized the skiing is so good here that you get what you get and you don’t get upset. The rooms that are NOT owner suites are below average and way overpriced, and the owner suites are dilapidated, and also very average. There is no way to get info or in-touch with who is running this place, I’ve tried for 2 years now to talk to someone who actually has some say here. (the head man/woman) it’s LITERALLY impossible to get in-touch. The only reason this place is still doing well, is the ski-in ski-out feature (which I admit is top notch) and the mountain itself which is also top notch. Sadly it may be time to switch to the rustler as many of my friends have stayed there and recommend it highly.
