Solitude Mountain Resort is a wonderful mountain and a great place to visit. The beautiful view and trails, including a favorite blue trail from the top and green runs, are enjoyed by visitors. The mountain provides a special experience for skiing and other activities like the Total Archery Challenge in July. The resort village includes Eagle Springs Lodge East with suites featuring a kitchen, fireplace, and livingroom, a short walk to events at the base of the mountain. Parking can be hard to find, even later in the day, though attendants sometimes offer discounts for cars with multiple people. The parking lot is also used by people to tailgate and have a cookout. Lift ticket prices vary, with options for military, beginners, and standard rates. Rental staff are awesome and helpful. The number of open slopes can be limited early in the season, leading to crowds, and restaurant menus can be limited though the food is delicious. Resort amenities include Alpine Coffee and treats like cinnamon sugar waffles. Many visitors plan to return, especially on less busy weekdays.
The beautiful view we went up on Tuesday snow is not so good yet then we went back on Sunday. It's a perfect day to ski but the parking spot is hard to find even though we go up there after 1 pm . Need to be back on weekdays!

The mountain is wonderful. There are only a couple slopes open right now, and those are pretty crowded, but during the season, it should be a great place to visit. We will definitely be back.

Solitude Resort was such a treat to explore whole coating from California. One of my favorite trails were the blue trail from the top. My fiancé and I also loved the cinnamon sugar waffles dipped in the chocolate syrup. Can't wait to come back!
