I purchased custom draperies through JCPENNYS because I'd purchased them through there years ago and my experience was great. THIS time NOT so great. I paid over $1000 and when they arrived they were horrible. My curtains were supposed to be pinch pleated but you can't tell that because they weren't ironed into pleats. They just hang like big poufs. They don't install your draperies anymore so I had to hire someone to hang them. I asked April, the girl I ordered them through, who I should use. She gave me a name, who I used. My curtains now hang dragging the floor and the cornice he hung he missed so he left holes in the wall where he missed. When I contacted the store I was told sorry out of luck. Custom drapes are not returnable. I have tried to live with these for several months but they are horrible. I will have to go somewhere else and start over and just accept that these were a costly mistake. The biggest problem is they have such a small selection and their samples are only about 3" big to choose from. They don't allow you to bring your own fabric in or even pick a fabric you like in and let you buy it through them. I wouldn't suggest going through JCPENNYS for anything custom made

I made an appointment online for a color. I came in wanting an all over color knowing I needed it lightened. They told me the dye they were going to use had a lightening agent and they wanted to do something a little different then the original plan. She took 5 hours to do my hair and my roots and front pieces had turned a golden orange and the rest was still dark brown. Definitely could’ve gotten a box dye to get these results. They had me pay still even though I was very unhappy with the results and told me to come back in 10 days for a touch up. Didn’t even need a touch up because they messed up my hair. Went to the Valley Fair location the next day to get it fixed and had beautiful results. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!

I had my hair done here last minute by a "master stylist". I showed her pictures of what I wanted which was Bayalage. She took all day pulling dye through my hair and when she had dried my hair it looked exactly the same as when I came in. Exactly the same!! Then she cut my hair and it looked so bad. I do not reccomend going here. It worries me who they make "master stylists". I did get a refund and the manager was very nice an apologetic.

Mimi is the best! If you need to do an appointment ask for her. She does know how to dye your hair appropriately and it treats your hair very gentle! I spent 4 hours for her and I enjoyed her company

I went and got my hair done by Ashleigh and had an amazing experience! She was so kind and my hair turned out even better than I had expected. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment for her to do my hair in the future. Thank you, Ashleigh! ?

I saw Ashleigh for and she was so nice. She listened to what I wanted and I left feeling great about my new style. She was fun to be around but also knew her stuff when it came to taking care of my hair!

JPenney isn't the first store that comes to mind when I think of trendy, in-style clothing. But then I look at my personal style and think-who am I kidding? There's nothing trendy or in-style about me. I prefer timeless clothing that I can wear for a long time and not look outdated after a few months. I love this store because it always has clothing that appeals to me-and often there is a good amount of it on sale. I do most of my back-to-school shopping here. My kid approves. Funny story-my wife bought me a necklace here several years ago. Suddenly, one day it turned up missing. I travel frequently, so figured I'd left it in a hotel somewhere and my wife surprised me with another one. Of course, just after she presented me with a replacement, the original necklace appeared behind our laundry hamper. So I have two identical necklaces, which I love. Anyway, JCPenney is great. I love this store.

This is very frustrating. Please don't fix it, let alone cut your hair here, let alone with a woman named MARYAM According to her, she says she is French and in the end the woman is from Iran and does not know how to cut her hair. Tried to make an appointment and the female representative was just so short tempered with me and rude from the time she answered. So many sighs in the first 3 minutes of the conversation. Customer service is very horrible that I just decided to go some place else for my cut and color. Once I said that to the rep on the phone she replied, "that's fine" and hung up.

I came in to the South Jordan UT earlier today to grab my kids a few things for school. My daughter got a pair of pants that she was super excited to wear tomorrow. Well as she's getting her clothes ready for tomorrow we notice the ink tag still left on the pants, obviously their security system doesn't work or we would've beeped and problem solved. Now I've got to take time out of my day tomorrow to go back and have it removed. I could see this being an honest mistake if it was the first time this has happened but its at minimum the 8th time this has happened. There is seriously no excuse for this.
