Jake, the new manager at this branch doesn't even try to work with you. He puts your check on hold for a week and doesn't release anything to you the day it's deposited aside from $200! I miss the other managers here. They go above and beyond for you. Jake doesn't even try to accommodate you by releasing more even though he could, as he stated. I will be pulling my funds from security service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

If I could give them negative stars I would. I had a car loan with SSFCU and back when Covid started we both lost our jobs. They had a deferral program so we did it so we could skip a few months until we got our stimulus check and unemployment was approved. We then paid the loan in full. Now almost two years later they are reporting to a credit agency that we had a 60 day late payment and not a deferral. I filed an appeal but they did not change it. According to the CARES act this is illegal to report negative payment history if an agreement was in effect. I will be reporting them to appropriate agencies but do not use them as they do not honor their agreements. I had stellar credit and now it's gone down by almost 100 points.

Where do I even start? This is the easiest, most friendly, and absolute most competent bank that I have ever worked with. They are all very knowledgeable, anyone is willing to help you out, and they will go out of their way to get the job done and more. I have applied for multiple loans within the past year and it has been the smoothest application process. I can’t forget to mention the level of customer service that each individual has provided to me. Especially Earlene who has took the initiative to assist me in any way possible. They definitely deserve more than 5 stars!

I couldn't be more thrilled with the ladies at this branch. Late last night someone tried to cash a check in my name. Another branch had already cashed a $600 check for these people and had these ladies not been diligent and paying attention, my families christmas would have been ruined. They called me immediately to ask if I had approved the check and I of course hadn't. They did not allow this check to be cashed, they filed a police report on my behalf, they got me a new account, debit cards, all transfers set up in 30 minutes and sent me on my way. This is the epitome of Customer Service and I will never forget it.

Called in April and got approved for Covid relief extension. Called in to make my first payment and they said I was 88 days past due, when I told them I got approved in April they said there was no record of that in my account notes. So I paid 4 months to bring my account current and reapplied for the relief cause my job is not restarting til September. They said I have to check back in 48 hours to see if its approved and when I said how can I can get a confirmation if it does go through so I don't have to go through this again and they simply replied with, we noted it this time and we don't do confirmations. So there is no telling what's gonna happen other than never trust a lying bank to help during a pandemic

I wish I could give them a lower rating, these are the most incompetent people I have ever met. They are just trying to get every single last penny from you. The communication between different departments is horrendous. I’ve been quoted different prices by multiple members promising that this is the total pay off price, but when I get to the branch to pay it off it’s all the sudden gone up. They are terrible!

I came in for financial assistance and met with Vay. She was very warm, friendly and approachable. She was very patient and answered all my questions. She is very good on what she do. She is very knowledgeable. She helped me save money and reduce my debts. I am so grateful for her. This place is lucky to have her as part of the team.
