I’m not sure why the employees are parking in the customer parking lot, but I often arrive here with no place to park. I have complained regularly with no response or resolution.
Today, on 8/23/25, a Saturday, I was scheduled to receive a package that required a signature. I have added my signature online and I also have a locking mailbox but to no avail, the mail person was too lazy to walk across the street and knock on my door to get my signature and deliver my package. It was medication I desperately needed and now I have to wait until Monday where I have to go pick it up and hope for an available parking stall. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. They have an excuse for everything or otherwise they just don’t care. I don’t know what has to happen for this location to make changes but here is my two cents. If I could give them negative stars I would do it.

This South Jordan Post Office needs to show up for their customers!! They never open on time, I showed up when they said they opened and waited over 35 min along with a line full of people. They also seem to close when ever they please. Again showed up within the hours of Operations and they decided to close 45 min early. Do Better, Be Better So Jordan Post Office

This is the second time in one week that the carrier has stated they have delivered a package to my locking mailbox and the package hasn’t been there. The first package was too large to even fit into my mailbox. To say I am angry is an understatement! This post office is just inept! We also consistently get other people’s mail…you have one job and that is to deliver items to a correct address. Major fail!

At least 3 times they were 5 weeks late in very important mail, got them after calling sender having them to send them again trough UPS
Also, I watched the mail person drop the mail in the mailbox, and one of the items was a note saying “sorry we missed you” when I was there and they never said anything, I really dislike the usp

I believe the postal worker’s name was Amon that was SO helpful for me today. My kids are in the military, and they send packages to me, and when they get home, I forward the packages to them. It can be costly, but you try to help your kids and the military. Anyway, Amon helped me save 25.00 today by consolidating two packages into one. I was already spending over 100.00, so I was very thankful for this savings.

The mailman who normally delivers my packages got injured so they had to use a sub In His stead. The sub would NOT deliver packages to my mailbox for multiple days. He would mark them as delivered and then just drive away with my stuff. I went to the office to figure out what was wrong and they took down my tracking number and phone number and said they'd get back to me. I went back on 3 different occasions and the same person who helped me out before didn't know what I was talking about and then took my Information to "call me back." They never notified me once. I would HIGHLY advise anyone to go out of your way to make sure nothing expensive or important gets routed through this post office or you run the risk of it never showing up.

Zero stars. The South Jordan post office is never a pleasant experience. Every time I need to call, I get a very curt, and just mean female manager who loves to cut you off in the middle of your sentences and make you feel like dirt. I had a package denied delivery due to a fault at the post office. They switched the sender and receiver names on the label they printed (you can clearly see on the box it was addressed correctly initially, then the post office refused to deliver the box because of this error of not having my name on the package, which I found hilarious because I get the wrong mail in my mail box all the time.
The 1-800 number for the post office is also the worst experience I have ever had on the phone. No help, no real human, just useless.

I would like to give them a better review but when no one was at the counter at approximately 11:40 am for close to ten minutes and then only one person at the counter which led the line to almost go to the door, I would recommend going to a different USPS location. I'm not impressed with this one.

South Jordan USPS is a case study for why the government should cut the postal service. They are genuinely awful and have been for years.Our mail is frequently not delivered. However when the mail is delivered, they often drop it off to random houses. Our neighborhood has a group chat dedicated to locating mail delivered incorrectly.When trying to locate a misplaced package the staff was rude and told me that Amazon would replace it.
