They get you in the door by discounting prices online, but there’s numerous stipulations on those discounts. The salesman know very little about the cars. They negotiate with you but they don’t actually have the power to make any sort of a deal. All deals have to be cleared with management, so they make you offers they can’t actually back up. Then once you think you’ve negotiated a reasonable prince and are ready to sign the papers they slap you with $1300 in dealers fees. I didn’t pay fees like that when I bought my Porsche

I recently had my Jeep serviced at this location. Going into it, I was honestly nervous. Service departments at dealers come with their own negative stigma. I have had awful experiences at the other Jeep dealers nearby, so a friend recommended this Salt Lake Valley dealer because she said it is the only Jeep Dealer that has actually treated her well. So I hesitantly gave it a try. Needless to say this is the ONLY dealer I will be using for my jeeps going forward. There was a miscommunication, however Michael in Service got it squared away without me even knowing! I really do feel like he went above and beyond more than any regular dealer normally would. I was expecting some conflict when I picked up my vehicle but instead I felt so much relief when I arrived and all the issues had been resolved before I even got there. This felt like exceptional customer service that needed to be recognized with a 5 star review! Thank you so much Michael!

Amazing and friendly customer service! Charles & Randy have gone out of their way to help with a 2024 Jeep problem outside of their hands. After Karl Malone refused warranty service because I didn’t buy from them, and forced me to cover the bill to tow from Heber to Salt Lake. Randy stepped in and took care of everything. He even offered a used car as no loaners were available. Thank you!!

Mike took really good care of me. Had to wait almost 3 weeks for some parts, but mike actually scoured the ram-universe for parts that were back ordered with no eta. Could have been MUCH longer had he not worked his magic.

Experience continues to get worst. After my below post, I was contacted a week later by someone at this dealership. He called to ask how my recent service was. I replied, not great because my jeep is still not fixed. “Long pause” then replies ok we’ll if there’s anything we can do, let us know and immediately hangs up, before I can even reply.Few days later Tony (service Manager) that replied to this post, says email him to discuss further. I have sent 2 emails now to him and it’s been over a week with no reply.Wondering if they just respond to make it look like people are getting help on their reviews.Took my jeep in for a strange clunking noise ear front driver tire last weekend for appt at 8:15am. Did not receive an update till around 4pm that they said they could not replicate issue and said it was because I got larger tires put on. I also provided videos of the sound when I go over any bumps.Mind you, I have done a lot of research on the tires and contacted multiple tire/wheel companies all confirming no rubbing and have had no issues. They have been on for 7 months with no issues and no sound. Also when I got the Jeep back, they did not wash it and it had tons of oily finger prints all over the Jeep.Took the Jeep for a second opinion and within an hour they were able to replicate the noise by shaking the Jeep and they felt a vibration or movement in my suspension. Called this dealership twice, left a voicemail and spoke with scheduler who would let them know to call me back. It’s been 3 days and nothing. Also filled out their survey I got in an email where they asked for feedback and if I wished to be contacted. Nothing. All in all very disappointed I was charged $140 for an incorrect evaluation and now they are dodging me. Looks like I’m going to eat that cost and find a place that knows what they are doing. Only reason I didn’t get it done at the other place that identified the issue was I have to go through jeep for my warranty.Go to the Jeep location in sandy! They are great, they are just booked out for 2 months and I need this fixed sooner…

Took the Jeep for 40,000 miles service. The service department said the completed all necessary service. But skipped most of it. On top of not doing the services they said they did they broke my key and didn't fix it. My girlfriend took in the Jeep even though I own it. I guess they take advantage of women there as well. If the service center paid me 500.00 to take my vehicle there I would tell them to jump in a lake. Absolute crooks.

I bought a Jeep from this dealership and thought it would be smart to have my service done there. Bought a contract for service. What a joke!Service takes forever (whether a simple oil change or a repair issue). They often couldn't find an issue and had to return multiple times till they did (and they eventually did figure it out). One of the customer service techs was really snotty and rude. I try hard to be polite and professional but had to ask that he never be assigned to me again.Last straw was today. Made an appt for oil change (so I wouldn't have to wait long) and it took over 3 hours (for a bloody oil change). No response from technician after multiple requests for update. This is my last oil change on the contract and definitely won't go back for more.Don't waste your time and money at this service center. Pretty much anyone is better.

We had a really frustrating experience getting our vehicle serviced at this dealership. Our vehicle got a flat tire and we have insurance protection to have the tire replaced. We called Thursday (5 days ago) and they said it would take 24 hours to get approval. We also had a small chip in the windshield and asked to have that fixed too since we would already be bringing the car in. Called back Friday still nothing. We called back Monday after the weekend went by and still nothing. We called the insurance to see what the hold up was and they said approval was sent over 9am that morning even though we had already called the dealership and they said it still wasn’t approved. Once we called the dealership back again they said they could get a tire in first thing the next morning and get it fixed. We were specifically told that the tire would be here by 10am the latest by one of the representatives. We called the morning of at 9:45am just to confirm and they said the tire would be arriving in 20 minutes. We ended up waiting 4 hours for the the car to be serviced and finished. They also didn’t take care of the windshield because it apparently hasn’t been approved which makes no sense since we spoke with the insurance yesterday confirming both the tire and windshield were good to go.It was just frustrating when we’ve been down a car for a bit and it should’ve been a quick service for the single tire. Plus, we now still have to get the windshield fixed at another time. It felt like our time wasn’t valued and half the day was wasted sitting at the dealership along with just so much back and forth and miscommunications over the last 5 days.

Bought a 2018 Cherokee Latitude and 3 months later we need a NEW Transmission and cooling system! $12k repair. Do NOT buy a car or trust this dealership. In response to you reaching out: We have called you seven times and left messages with your staff. We were told you "are out to lunch" or "are busy" every single time.

The screen on my jeep had been glitchy for sometime. I finally called and made an appointment to have it looked at after I looked at the warranty to see if it would most likely be covered. The day of my appointment, I dropped my jeep off and was given to Cameron. Later that day, I received a call but was unable to answer due to being at work. Cameron left a voicemail saying he wanted to speak with me about my jeep and left his number. When I had a break an hour later, I called him at the number he told me to call. He did not answer so I left a voicemail. The next day, I called him. Again, he did not answer and I left another voicemail. Two days later, I still had not heard anything. I called the main service number and they said they would patch me through to him. AGAIN, he did not answer and I left another voicemail. I asked my husband what to do and he said call back and tell them not to send me to Cameron. I called back and told them the situation. They told me they like to keep customers with the same service employee but maybe someone else was available. I was then transferred to Cameron's number anyway. My husband asked for the phone number and gave them a call. He was told the same information about needing to stay with the same service member. My husband gave them his number and they said Cameron would reach out. 5 minutes later, Cameron gives him a call back!!! Cameron tells my husband the screen needs to be replaced but they need to find out if the warranty covers it. If not, it's $1600. My husband said "you've had the car for 3 days, what have you been doing?" Cameron said, "well, we've been waiting to hear back." The lamest excuse as I had called and left multiple messages. Cameron told my husband he would give him a call back after calling the warranty company. He calls my husband pretty quickly back again. He says the warranty will cover it but they have to order the part so we can pick up my car in the meantime. I show up and walk up to Cameron and tell him I'm here for my car. He doesn't even look up from his phone and tells me I need to go to the cashier. It has been 3 business days and I have not heard anything about the part. I will never be bringing my car back after my experience with Cameron and his sexism....

Let me start this by saying I don't often write a review but my experience with salt lake valley sales team was phenomenal, truly I have been to other dealerships-- none have been more understanding, professional and accommodating. Randy worked as quickly as possible to find the best deal on our gladiator and got us an amazing deal (coming from a car I thought I'd never get out of). His swift assistance got us our gladiator in no time and for the right price. He even allowed me a quiet secluded area to feed my little baby while we were there. If you are looking for a place with the best deals, best sales team and the upmost respect... salt lake valley CDJR is the SPOT! Charles was our salesman and he showed us all the details of our jeep and even how to use our 4WD system the correct way and where to snag good deals for our jeeps aftermarket upgrades when we were ready. Overall I'd give 1000000 stars if I could because they really worked some seriously miracles for me. Thank you, Randy, Charles and team.

If I could give it, zero stars I would. I bought a jeep from a different dealership and after taking it home my lane assist and my adaptive cruise control both had error messages come up, saying it needed to be serviced. Murdock took the car to jeep to get it fixed where they were told it was just an update that needed to be had, well after I picked up the car guess what messages came back up? I called today to ask about the service where I was abruptly interrupted not only once but three times by the girl who picked up the phone letting me know that the service manager Craig I believe was his name would give me a call back, but he hasn’t even given a call back to the dealership, so I highly doubt he will call me , if you’re wanting a reliable car jeep isn’t it and this service department doesn’t care about helping you or your car

I wish I could give zero stars. Worst customer service ever!! Sales Manager Justin is racist and can't keep up with his own words. I was denied service and humiliated while discussing terms. Sales guy was great, but I went to talk to Sales Manager Justin for first time to talk about a business discount and before I could complete my sentence, I was shown utter disrespect and was out of the dealership. This guy being a manager has serious temper issues. I would never go back to this dealership even if I get the car for free and neither would recommend anyone buying from here unless they are comfortable with humiliation, disrespect and other bait & switch tactics. Not to mention, unreliable manager who could jump at you anytime for no reason. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I have had the worst experience with salt lake valley Chrysler Jeep ram. Their service department is horrible. I've made several appointments to take my car in for recalls and just work and every time I've been sent away because they forgot or did not order the parts or gave my parts to someone else. They don't even bother calling you to let you know they don't have the parts. Do not come in left. They left my car there for a whole week. It was done but did not even call me to tell me the car was done. Worst experience I've ever had in my 70 years
