Could not be more happy. Sam was very knowledgeable, quick to reply to questions and most importantly, his team did a great job. We debated on covering our original white oak ('61) but the quote was reasonable enough that we just went for it. We are pretty particular but not only do they look amazing but the finish is actually softer under foot. Highly recommend.

Horrible! Sam bids it low then stretches the time to double or triple what was told so you end up paying far more. All promises and little follow through. Big mistake going with him. Find a real contractor not a 9-5 and no weekends carpet and counter top guy.

A month later and insulation still covering the entire main level. Small 2800 square foot home. Promised demo would be done in 7-10 days and not delivered. Maybe Sam is fine as a Carpet snd counter top guy but horrible he is a horrible contractor. I’ve had a major 5000 square foot home remodel before. Guys showed up everyday and got the job done. Not the case with Vama.

Sam promises everything and deliver's little. A 7-10 day demo on a 2800 square foot home still not even close to being done after 28 days. 1-2 young guys would show up to the job a couple times a week. Find a company that doesn't just sell you on their company but also delivers. Sam is NOT the guy. He will show up to sell you on the job and again on the day to take your money and then he is gone.

**BUYER BEWARE** A few years back I had them do my floors and when they were supposed to put my baseboards back in I saw them, instead, torn to pieces in my driveway. Sam, the owner, claimed that we had asked them to be replaced which wasn't true at all. Come to find out, this dude went so low as to blame the issue on my wife saying that she couldn't speak proper Armenian to communicate with his installers who were also Armenian. She is fluent in the language. Also, most people in the US speak English so you should make sure that proper communications are made in English. This was the first sign that I should've realized that this man is a sociopath and takes no blame upon himself. For some reason unbeknownst to me at this time, I actually hired him back to do my remodel because he claimed he could do it for much less than the other bids that I had gotten. Instead, he thought he could do it for less, unfortunately was uneducated in the bidding process and timeline that he couldn't do it for anywhere near the price he gave me. He gave me a 5 week timeline (over 14 months and it's still not done). They ripped off the roof, left it uncovered for multiple weeks. Rain storms came and flooded multiple parts of our home, which were never fixed. The house was freezing and the furnace that ran nonstop for months, and ran up a huge bill, couldn't keep up with the cold. This was also horrible for a newborn child. Over and over at each step he blamed a sub contractor for this and for that but never once took blame upon himself. He even convinced me to sue the engineers for something that was his fault, not theirs. He showed no compassion or sympathy throughout the brutal process. He actually had me call some of the subs for him to try and get money back. I ended up doing so much of the work myself for which I should bill him back for, not to mention the general contractor work I was forced into which I should be charging him a 25% standard fee for. Sadly he has very few workers that he's working to the bone on 16 hour days that make next to nothing and he's putting them onto specific aspects of construction for which they're not fully trained or certified for because he thinks it will save him money. His primary businesses are flooring and cabinetry. He measured the cabinets himself and measured them wrong in so many places. I also sent him the specific links to the sink, stove top and microwave, which I can prove by the way, that had the exact measurements and yet they cut the cabinets incorrectly and had to recut, re-measure and took months to get them out to my house. The biggest issue again is that he blamed me for these problems. I didn't measure the stuff, you moron! And that's not the homeowner's responsibility to do so. I also didn't cause the problems that he created and tried to charge me for. They weren't my mistakes. I am not responsible to pay for what you couldn't get right time after time after time. You should be embarrassed of the lack of quality control you displayed on your project. Needless to say I'm multiple tens of thousands of dollars over, on even the extra contingency budget that he quoted me, and the house is still not done. I had never met a sociopath before in my life until I met him. Pathological liar, manipulator, dishonest and no sympathy or concern for other humans. There's so much more that happened but I don't have the patience to write it all. What's also ironic here is that he tried to get me to write bad reviews for all of these other contractors when he blamed them for issues he caused. Instead of that, I'm coming to the source and writing that review here, at the point of the actual culprit. I just can't believe that someone who does this for a living can mess so many things up and make people's lives so miserable because he can't take any blame for anything. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. Sadly there is no option for zero stars.

My husband and I recently bought new flooring, baseboards and casings from Vama and after going to a few places we couldn't be more happy with the flooring options we picked along with the Vama team! Allyn was so helpful with giving us options and samples to ensure we picked the right product. She truly took the time to listen to our needs and made sure we felt confident with the flooring options we picked. In addition, Vahe and his team were very respectful when coming into our home and got our flooring done in a few days. Overall our experience was amazing here! Thank you so much Vama team!

I recently engaged with Vama to complete an engineered hardwood installation on ~500sq ft of flooring in my home (i.e. two bedrooms, hallway, and stairs to basement).Although there were a few issues in communicating with the salesperson, Vahe and his team very quickly moved to address the issues to my complete satisfaction. The quality of the installation was top notch & matches existing hardwood in the house. Given how thoughtful Vahe was (and how high quality the install was), I would elect to return to Vama for my future flooring needs.

Mark is great to work with! They are super diligent and did amazing things for us. They were able to change, add, and alter things as our needs changed, and accommodated us during the whole process. I would recommend them to anybody. We did flooring, cabinets and countertops with them.

This summer we finished our basement including a large art studio. We ordered LVP flooring, a bathroom vanity cabinet, counter tops, and carpet all from Vama. Mark was awesome to work with and we couldn't be happier with their service and quality! The counter tops are beautiful, the cabinet is really sturdy and functional, the carpet is so nice, and the LVP flooring is gorgeous, durable, and my favorite! Just this week a student spilled a full plate of paint and it was fun, because it wiped right up!
