Purchased some items I didn't like, so I tried to return them within the 30 day policy. The person at the counter said he can't take the items since I didn't purchase them at their store. I understand the stores are independently run, but this makes me not want to shop here. At least with Lowes and Home Depot, I can return items at any location.

Ace does really great deals for members (free, sign up/create account, get mailers and digital coupons). They also do really great black Friday week sales on name brand tools. The employees here are always really kind and helpful.

I went here to get a battery for my key fob. The bottom part of my key fob has been broken for a while so when they suggested a new key fob, I said let's go ahead and do that. They did the new fob and cut the key that goes with it. I went out, put the key in the ignition and it started. I got to work and went to take the key out and it would not come out. I took it back to the store and said I cannot get the key out, very worried as I would have to leave the key in the ignition. Jandy was so rude to me, the poorest customer service I have ever received. Charles the manager said he could not do anything until the next day. Jandy took down my info, but the next day I never received a call from Charles. My husband luckily was able to get the key out and we took it back for a refund. Poor customer service and not the way you retain customers.

This location drives me crazy! I’ve been coming here for years because it’s closest to my house but man the turn around of employees at this location is unbelievable. Every time I come I feel like they want to test my patience so I started ordering through the app to have the least amount of interaction with employees here as much as possible. I come here for Benjamin Moore paint and every time and I mean every time they don’t know how to mix the paint and always treat me like I am an idiot. I know more about paint than these employees do. I’ve waited 3 years to finally decide to leave this review. Today was the last straw for me. We are painting the exterior of our house and are doing it in fazes since it’s a huge project so I’ve ordered the same can of paint over and over through the app to make sure there is no confusion but today when I ordered I waited 5 hours to pick up my paint and it said it was done through the app but the employee said they hadn’t mixed it yet! So frustrating! Then he proceeds to ask me questions about the paint to make sure he is putting the right one into the computer. He was rude and snarky with me. I told him to please mix what I instructed through the app and that I’ve ordered many many of the same can through the app. While he was mixing I asked him if he got the correct mixture and he said “hopefully” are you kidding me!? At $70 a can it better be right!!!!! I had to hold my emotions inside but I’ve had enough! And I don’t even know if he mixed the can correctly, I guess I’ll find out. So disrespectful and rude. I’m going to Salem from now on.

Well stocked and found what i was looking for. One weird thing Ive never seen before. I was looking at the Big Green Egg smokers and one of them had clearly been used. I picked burnt food off the grill. Pretty unsanitary and didnt make me want to look further.

Ace hardware usually has excellent customer service but not this location! Poor customer service from the manager to the cashier?? this is the closest location to me but I don’t think I will be back to this location in a while!

Very frustrating and stressful shopping experience. No one seemed to want to help, and thankfully one employee did offer to help. But then no one told me I needed to look up the prices of my purchases, so when I went up to the register, they made me go back and look up the product prices by myself. And I clearly don’t know what I’m doing! But no one offered to help me. I don’t want to be a Karen but I hope the store improves their customer service.

I went into Ace yesterday and it was a bad experience. I asked about a wheelbarrow and the older gentleman acted put out. After he showed it to me he just pushed it toward me and didn’t even offer to take it up front for me. After I paid for it the two teenage boys up front didn’t even offer to help me out with it. Am I expecting too much in the form of customer service? This is my second bad experience in this Ace and why I will take my business to the Payson location which is just as close to my house.

Their recent hires are rude. Been a loyal customer over lowes and Home Depot. I went in the other day to get fishing gear. The net was placed on a sign that said $6.99, all of them were. It rang up at $9.99 and told them the concern. The cashier wouldn’t even move and said it was probably in the wrong spot. I told them it was all of them and to go check. He leaves to check and come back and says all are in the wrong spot and the number is wrong the last three on the skew were wrong. Rule 1: customer is always right. I told him, whose fault is it, Mine or the stores? And the lady cashier comes over and starts defending him telling me I shouldn’t talk to him with attitude. I just asked a question. I will never shop at Spanish Fork ACE until this is resolved. I went to Walmart and will continue to go there for my fishing gear, lowes for anything home related. You hear that Ace Hardware? Your new employees are rude, except for Charles the manager he’s always been helpful but his last set of new hires are bad, they have bad attitudes, and they don’t know how to treat customers.
