Derek is THE man! Brought my ‘16 Jetta in to change my timing belt. He gave me a great quote and fast turn around time. Then things were running a bit behind because of missing tools and he drove up to SLC very early the next morning to retrieve the tools and get the job done on time. I’ll be a lifelong customer now. Highly highly recommend this shop!

Derek was super helpful with replacing the coils and spark plugs on my Ford. He assessed the problem and was able to fix it quickly. He is very knowledgeable about a variety of cars and the pricing is reasonable. I would recommend going here if you're looking for a good car mechanic!

This shop was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I am so glad I brought my vehicle here. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, willing to go out of his way for me, fixed my truck super fast and was transparent with everything. Oh and the pricing was way better than I found anywhere else. I can be very critical of auto mechanics but Derek exceeded all of my expectations. I needed a charge pipe for my truck (Dealer only part) and nobody had it. I mean NOBODY. He took time out of his busy day to research and find a company that actually had one in stock. From here on out, my truck won't be going to any other mechanic

I have had to take my car in several times. They do qualify work and they do not try to do things that does not need to be done. I had a place tell me I needed a new pump for my windshield washer. I brought my car here and told them I needed a pump. They looked at it and told me the line was just clogged. No pump needed and it works great.

We have had multiple cars serviced at Anything Auto. What I appreciate most is the honesty. Multiple times, I was anticipating expensive repairs that would take days, but Derek found the problem was a minor one and fixed that at a fair price--same day. It's not that his prices are below market or that he works with superhuman speed, it's that he fixes what is actually wrong with the car. Period. He does not try to fix things that don't need to be fixed as other mechanics do. Today, my clutch stopped working in the middle of driving. I pressed it in and it wouldn't release and the gear shift was completely stuck. I thought my clutch had gone out or else the transmission. I told him so over the phone. Lots of mechanics would have got it in and said, "Yep, that's your problem" then charged for a new clutch or whole transmission that didn't need. But Derek diagnosed it and found the clutch and transmission were fine, but it was the part that connected the clutch pedal to the clutch itself that was broken. So he just fixed that and I can drive my car again. I only had to pay for that minor part and a relatively short time of labor. Looking for an honest mechanic? We’ve taken our foreign cars all over the county to get fixed throughout the years then we found the team at Anything Auto and haven’t left since! They fix all our cars, Audi, BMW, Chevy and they do it quickly, quality and affordable. They are a local small business which we love being able to support. Derrick is so knowledgeable with the foreign cars which is so nice because there’s not that many repair shops that are. Thanks again!

We took a truck in to replace the transmission when the rear differential caused a crack. When we got it back, we noticed a broken plate between the transmission and motor. They said it would have doubled the cost to replace it and it didn’t matter. My transmission is out again after only 2 years for the same exact problem as before. I took it to another shop that is replacing the broken plate - should be done when the transmission is out and is only a fraction of the cost of the transmission. Plus, they left out an alignment pin. The missing pin and the broken plate is what caused the transmission to crack again.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found Derek. It is such a relief to find a mechanic that can work on a VW and just repair what needs to be repaired efficiently. He literally fixed things other people messed up. Also found a problem that I didn’t even ask him to find and didn’t charge me extra for a simple fix.
