  I love jakes so much. Do you need a snack? They got it. Do you need entertainment? They got it. Do you need a burger? They got it. Do you need a car wash? They got it. Do you need bucked up? They got it! Do you need a bathroom? What do you think of course They got it. Jakes is amazing. Best soda fountain in all of utah valley. I will literally take my children here when I'm married and old. I know a vacation to jakes sounds crazy but they literally have everything I wouldn't be surpirsed if theres a 5 star resort on a Beach somewhere in there. So much character, so much love.

  Just a heads up, for weeks now the soda machines have been absolutely disgusting. Looks to Never be cleaned and looks like some sort of fungus or some atrocitie is growing on the soda dispenser spouts!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

  Absolutely a joke when it comes to propane. I’ve had the same terrible experience with the same guy who can’t speak English multiple times I’ve gone to get propane. I went to get my propane filled up and they sent out a guy who doesn’t Speak a single word of English and also doesn’t know anything about the propane. He just looked at me and will shake his head like he has no idea what’s going on. I have made a complaint about it To the staff working every single time I’ve been there, and they say that they’re still training him. It’s been going on for two years now…. Still training? I understand if he doesn’t know how to speak English, but don’t put him in a job where it is working with explosive gas and can’t communicate at all. It’s freaking dangerous and it’s expensive for me when he just waste tons of propane into the air, cause he doesn’t know how to fill up my tank. And when I told them I didn’t want to pay for the extra propane that was lost because of the mistake they looked at me like I was crazy. And obviously didn’t discount anything. Would not recommend getting propane from this place ever. And if you do make sure Mike is not the one to help you

  I’ve been coming here since I moved to Utah over 18 years ago and it sure has gone down hill. Not sure if it’s due to new management, but we will definitely be spending our money elsewhere. This place HAD good food, great service and the price was very nice. Not only will I not come here, I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. Not only did the employee not hand me my food, he had a customer do it for him. Absolutely ridiculous.

  I’ve been going to Brookside for years, at least 30+. even after the current ownership bought it, things have been pretty good. But the last month or two the service has really gone downhill. I don’t know what the deal is but when I order food at 6:10, to have it ready at 6:30, and we get there at 6:45 and are told is still going to be another 5 to 10 minutes. That is unacceptable.
