Went for an oil change, they said the filter wouldn’t come off (never had a single issue before) and to take it to a mechanic. Car started leaking oil after.

If I didn't have to take my work vehicle here due to contracts, I would not go here. They upsell me everything I go. This last time they told me I needed new brakes after recently getting a brake job done At the dealership.

The employees at this store are really nice and don't try too hard to upsell you, but I wish they'd go over some of the other inspection elements. Like other Jiffy Lubes, they tend to try to upsell you on the smaller things (air filters, wipers, etc.) but don't really go over the bigger things (tire rotation, brake pads, etc.).
Also, when they're busy, they miss things. I made the mistake of buying my car in July many years ago, so registration renewal is always kind of a pain. Today, they never went over emissions with me and I had to come back to get the certificate. They said my invoice would be emailed to me, but it wasn't, so I'm going to have to head back tomorrow, as well. That said, their work is generally good and I've never had things be as slow as today (2 hour wait, but I went home).

Updated July 2024: Used to love this place for years. Upsells were offered, easily declined, and not previously done with dishonest vehicle condition reports. Son went yesterday and was completely lied to about work needing to be done. Told needed front brake job, including "left brake pad about to contact." He went back this morning to get brake job and told once they got wheels off it didn't need new brake pads at all (thanks for the honesty today). Even if this contradiction, like claimed today, was probably due to a visual inspection yesterday with wheels still on creating shadow (though son had requested the free brake INPECTION while there for the oil change), there was at least one blatant lie on our list of supposedly needed work: being told under belts comments "frayed and worn." Two months ago we had a serpentine belt break near home and at the trusted full service shop that replaced it, they also had to put a new tensioner in. If it were truly worn and frayed, then that shop's work would be faulty. I visually checked the belt this afternoon. There is no fraying, it is not worn, and it is snug. Timing belt is not visible, requires engine pull at full service shop, and was replaced 15k miles ago at at high cost. Jiffy Lube Springville current store manager appears to be encouraging workers to lie in order to boost sales.

Simon greeted me as soon as I pulled up and helped check me in for an emissions inspection. I made him aware of a problem I was having with my wiper blades. He told me he’d take a look at it. He did the inspection and fixed my wiper blades and didn’t charge me. This is the kind of customer service that you just don’t see now days. 5 star + from me.
The young man who helped me with the payments of service was so kind and patient. Sadly I didn’t get his name (young tall fellow with curly dark hair and glasses). He talked me through each charge patiently and stopping to ask if I had any questions. He walked me to my car and even helped me get my registration sticker off and apply it to the plate.
Keep up the good work guys and don’t let up on your attention to customer service. Fantastic!
