The Springville Museum of Art is a magnificent and charming local museum, a hidden gem and the best run art museum in Utah. Housed within a breathtaking Spanish Colonial building that is itself an architectural work of art, it was built in the 1930s as one of the first museums built west of the Mississippi. The museum provides a small town feeling and is the focal point of Springville. The exceptional art is beautifully curated and displayed, focusing on historical and contemporary Utah art from many local artists and featuring many different styles. It offers a classy and life-affirming experience. The museum also has lovely gardens and is a beautiful venue for events like weddings. It is committed to the community with many events and activities, supported by a friendly and competent staff. Welcoming visitors from all walks of life, this free museum is a beacon of artistic inspiration.
This free museum is great for people of all ages. I've visited here multiple times (once for an indoor wedding reception, once for an outdoor wedding ceremony/reception, and several times to see the art). They have some lovely art for sale.

My husband and I did our engagements and also got married (ceremony and reception) here! They gave us free rein of the museum to do our pictures. For the wedding we did the ceremony in the gardens, and the reception in the building. It was so beautiful, and nothing beats the classy vibes of a wedding at an art museum!

Enjoyed walking through the religious and spiritual art of Utah exhibit before it closed.
