The volunteers are very helpful, also the wheat berries in the 25 pound bags are very clean (no tiny stones, stalks, or grass seeds). I have had other sources of wheat which are not so clean.

There is a side of the building open to the general public to buy food storage supplies at a great price. Just go during the business hours and stick up on what you need. They have large cases of items for did storage, or if you go to the front where you check out, they have individual cans if you don't want a whole case. Also the people are so kind and helpful.

The volunteers are always so great. I appreciate the time they personally gave to me. I don't like that they don't have the storehouse open for me to do my own storehouse shopping. I get much better fruits and vegetables plus more of what I really want if I can do it myself. We have opened church meetings for everyone, 200 people in my ward, so I think it's time to rethink this temporary policy

Do not expect food assistance from the LDS church if you aren’t a member. The LDS church says it gives to non-members, but I’ve been a member for over 40 years and I’ve never heard of any non member who received free food from the Bishop’s Storehouse. You are better off going to a food bank or to a more generous church that isn’t so inclusive and clique-ish.
This doesn’t reflect upon the workers at the Storehouse itself who seem to always be very kind and willing to help. They do a great job. 5 stars to them, 0 starts to the Church itself.
