I am a professional/licensed hairdresser and I am incredibly picky when it comes to my hair. Ask for JULIE, she is nothing short of a wizard when it comes to coloring! I love chatting with her, she’s real, she tells me what she really thinks and what will look good on me. She’s also direct when explaining the color process and realistic about how long it will take to get to a certain look; This is good for me bc I like to change my color often and she cares about the integrity of my hair! Her assistants are just as fun and respectful as her... I feel taken care of when I’m at Blow Beauty Salon. It’s a relief to enjoy my salon experience and be able to trust the person working on my hair! (Bc I’ve definitely had the opposite experience and I’m sick of that!)

I’ve had awful experiences here. The lead gal, Julie, mistreats her assistant hair dressers. Very rude. I quit going and will not return. Once someone left the room, typically her assistants, she would talk badly about them. I also work in a public place where Julie has come in with a friend, coworker, or employee (not sure which) and has been heard, by several people, bad mouthing her assistants. Will not be returning. Would not recommend to anyone. Unless you enjoy feeling uncomfortable or unwelcome, there are several other OUTSTANDING salons and hairdressers in St. George.

I really love this salon. I never come away disappointed and that's saying a lot when you trust someone with your hair. Julie is my stylist but as I watch the other stylists around me it seems like they always have a good rapport with their clients. I highly recommend Blow Beauty if you're looking for current, fun, but professional hair and aesthetic services.

I'm not going to be a complete downer, I will start by saying my hair is naturally EXTREMELY curly (as you can see in my pictures). That being said, I know how to get my hair straightened. When I made an appointment the day before, I made it for a blow out and flat iron and asked to bring my own product seeing as it is the only thing that will work in my hair. When I showed up for the appointment and before getting to the chair, I stated once again I was requesting a blow out and flat iron. My hair was blown out and then the stylist said we were done. I asked if she was going to flat iron it and she she could. So, she goes over the the tops and sides with the flat iron. Anyone who gets their hair flat ironed knows you start from the bottom, at the nape of the neck, and work up doing small sections at a time. At this point I had been there for over an hour and my arse was really, really numb. Before moving to St. G, believe it or not, I got my hair done only at one Fantastic Sams back home because they got my hair bone straight doing exactly what I requested to be done with the same product. My hair started curling back up 2 hours after leaving the salon. Considering this salon is called Blow, I figured they be on top of the the blow dry game-not so much. They could be great at other services, I don't know, but the stylist was nice.

I absolutely love having my hair done here. Julie Thomas is amazing with color and cuts. I drive from San Diego to have her do my hair!
