“I’m sad they’ve been temporarily closed (to my understanding?) my dad was a professional mechanic with 40 years of experience when he professionally retired and retired from family vehicle maintenance. I tried this shop and I instantly felt like I could trust them. Other shops I had tried through the years, I’d go in for an oil change to see how I felt and leave with a list of $5,000 worth of maintenance and repairs I needed. I went to K&A with some work I thought I needed and they actually talked me out of some of it, telling me it was something I needed done eventually but it really wasn’t a rush. When my dad approves of them I knew I could rely on them. If they’re ever back in the business I will continue to be a loyal customer. I know they won’t up sell me on things I don’t need, so I feel confident that I’m investing in a true necessity by spending whatever amount they recommend on a repair or maintenance. I know my vehicle is older and has some mileage so I know it needs some work and I don’t mind the investment into its long term life, but I want to know I’m not just throwing money away. I’ve since recommended multiple people to them who all had similar experiences where they just felt like the recommendations made sense, were not unnecessary upselling, and were priced fairy.”
