They only sell to licensed professionals. They do not make this clear at all. I even called to ask if they had a certain product, and told them that I was lookong for a birthday present for my mom. Nobody on the phone bothered to tell me that they would not sell to me.

A friend has gotten me products from this store before so I wanted to check it out.A woman greeted me, asked if I needed help, I asked where the shampoo and conditioner was. Grabbed a few items and went to check out when they let me know that they only sell to licensed professionals.I was obviously unfamiliar with the store, so I wish the employee would’ve caught on and mentioned something before I spent time looking around..I totally understand only selling to professionals, but wish they had a sign that said “not open to the public” or something similar. They do have a “welcome, licensed professionals” sign on their door, but I wasn’t sure if that meant only professionals..My experience with their products has been good, just wish I could shop there myself!

Wow. The worst customer service. I would leave negative 5 stars if possible. I have never written a review in my life and am a genuinely easy going, don’t let people’s comments get to me kind of person. With that said, I am blown away and not in a good way.Upon entering the store, no “hello, welcome, can I help you find anything?” Which honestly, whatever. I’ve worked in retail and customer service my whole life and have been in the position of not reflecting the best of moods or just so busy organizing product to remember the little things. So at this point, still cool as a cucumber.I loaded a cart with $150 worth of product after scouring the aisles for 30 minutes because EVERYTHING was an out of place mess. I like to leave things better than I found them so as I shopped, I made sure the shelves I took product from were left neat and orderly.I had a quick question about a leave in treatment and approached two women working in the back. The first worker I directed my question to gave me a blank stare and said she doesn’t know anything about the brand I was holding in my hand.The second woman repeated my question to me in the form of an answer and said, “that’s the homecare version????, if you want the full experience you need the package that includes all the steps.”I’ve worked in the beauty industry for 6 years so I know we are taught to up-sale product so that was not my issue. It was the manner of how she addressed me, looked me up & down then made me feel uneducated in the field of business we are both in.In conclusion I would love to tell this employee, “remember how CosmoProf only allows professionals to enter these holy grounds? We’re both in this strip mall, through the plexiglass doors of the elite establishment of CosmoProf. Also I don’t care who you are, when you’re at work we are representing a business, check that weight of the world attitude at the door like a professional????Do better. I believe in you! Will never step my foot, nor will my prosperity for generations to come support this establishment because of your off Broadway, cheap performance.”P.S. Rarely has any sales or discounts and rarely has everything I need in stock. It's usually pointless to go pick up color at the store. I was instead ordering online and waiting for it to be shipped, but Cosmoprof doesn't ship for free until you buy $200. I just shop at Salon Centric now 90% of the time. The same company that owns Sally's Beauty Supply also owns Cosmoprof, so I stay away from this place most of the time.

They literally never have anything in stock. I went there about two weeks ago looking for black. Not a single one of their color lines had black in stock. Like how?!
